😯 WOOOOOAH they're definitely Blingy, the silver and copper one's have got to be my favourite too. You can rest assure that the fish in the lake's, river's and sea haven't come across anything like those swimming around! They've got to be WINNER'S in my opinion 👍😷👍
THE MASTER ! Thanks for all your videos ! Thanks to you we are able to create / duplicate a lot of differents lures and its a great part of your work taht inspired us ! Thanks for that. You'll stay the master for us for ever ! THANKS THANKS THANKS
only just subbed to your channel a week ago and i am binge watching your videos and trying to soak it all in because i am about to kick off in lure making ( was going to a few years ago but it got put on the back burner ,now my interest is sparked again) , soft plastics first then later onto hard body lures .thank you very much for all the methodology and knowledge you are sharing it will save me a lot of trial and error . i am finding it a little difficult to source some things in australia but i will get what i need eventually ,thanks again .
Hello from Canada Juergen. I stumbled on you while searching for lure building videos. I am so happy I did! This is a design that I haven’t seen before and something I’m going to do with my next set of lures. Side note, my family history is in Denmark, my grandfather immigrated to Canada. I’ll be waiting for your next video and looking at your past ones as well. Great job!! 🇨🇦 🇩🇰 🎣🤗. Tight lines my friend!
Hi Dave. Thanks for your mesage, and happy that you find it usefull. I have an uncle and 3 cusins in Canada, so in that way I feel a bit connected to that country, and has been there a few times. Cheers
Nice to see a new video from you again😜 have also done few covered entirely with glitter, no paint at all😳 tested 1st one of those in october (big one, 17,5cm & 145g). In 1hour 3 nice pikes (94, 90 & 84cm). I always learn some new "tricks" from your videos. 😍
Man, RUclips didn't told me that you were back! I love your videos, very very smart content. I wanted to ask you, have you tried to slightly warm the lure after the glitter layer with the heat gun to melt the standing flakes? Thank you man for the content.
Not sure how the notifications in youtube works. I don't get notifications of all I think. Some flakes are made og metal, it won't work with those. And even with plastic, I'm not sure if yuou wil end up damaging the epoxy. But you can try :D
Hi, Jergen. It's GREAT to see you back on RUclips! As a longtime subscriber and SplishSplash fan, I grew dependent on your regularly posting new videos, which always taught me SOMETHING I didn't know about lure-making. (Using casting sand is just one of them.) I know that making these "tutorials" takes a lot of time and effort, so I completely understand that you have tapered off since the earlly days of the channel. I just want you to know how much I appreciate each and every one of your videos. Best, Chris
I means a lot to me with messages like this Chris, and I can tell you that I have no intention of making less videos. However sometimes life throw obstacles in you way, making priorities shift. Hopefully I will be able to spend a bit more time making videos now.
I'm a bait builder as well, my RUclips is Bubs Tackle Box. I liked your videos so much I subscribed to your channel. I must say you are very good. I'll keep coming back. I've learned alit from you on adding bling to a lure. You did very well explaining the process. Thank you!!!!!
Great, thanks. Just curious to know if you did try to use the same method for glow in the dark results. I have glow in the dark powder for jigs, bindind under high temperature, but didn’t try to bind it with epoxy. Will that work? Thanks.
I think it will work, but maybe not optimally. Powerpaint inludes som "plastic" that melts, and it would propably be better to have the pure "glow in the dark powder"
Great video! I love your content and I already learned a lot. I have a general question. since you introduced the possibility of 3D printing. Doesn't it make sense to print masters instead of using wood, or even print all the lures instead of using silicon molds with epoxy? What is cheaper, epoxy or filament material for the printer?
Hi Seppeq. I makes a lot of sense to print your masters. I do that with most of my lures now. That said, it does not make sense for me to print the lures themselves. First of all because it takes too long. Just to make the lurebody nice and smooth and easy to paint would be a big job. At least with the quality of my 3D printer. Normally I am able to make approx 3 casts a hour with one mold, and I often have 2 molds at a time. So i can quickly produce a nice batch. That would take a bit more time on the printer. On the other hand the printer can run while you sleep. So it might just be a matter of what you like the most
@@SplishSplashFishing Hey, thanks for the fast reply. Ok, understand. I totally forgot how long the printing itself takes. Also I guess it would be kind of boring to print everything :D. Have a great week!
Very interesting video again Buddy! I am always happy learning new things for luremaking! The alcohol you are using, is it just ehtanol or something like isopropanol? Best regards, René (ReBosBaits)
I am curious if there i a way to accurately copy a lure's spoon, any ideas Mr. Splish Splash? I was hoping to try this out with a gypsum mold and pour in epoxy resin, just don't know what would be a good solution no to bind to one another too much. The spoon in question is from the vobler: MANNS MAGNUM 30+.
Hi Jergen, i make some woden crank and jerkbaits but finding decent epoxy in europe has not been very easy, at least of the brand i see most luremakers use. Can you recommend any epoxy and where i could buy it in europe? thank you very much
Hi Filipe. I have used Glass Cast 3 from Easycomposites in UK for many years now, and find it better than any of the american brands. After Brexit, they made a shop within EU, so its still easy to get hold on
@@SplishSplashFishing thank you so much. I knew you used glasscast but i had not come across the eu shop so i couldnt order it. Really thank you so much.

Thanks Andrew - And you are right. In some lightconditions they outfish other colors

Great video really helpful❤ do you clean the lures after you sand the after the first epoxy
You can wipe them off in alcohol if they are dusty
@@SplishSplashFishing you mean that “SPIRITUS AETHYLICUS” 95%
Cool movie 👍

It is just ethanol which most people have around or easy access to

Very difficult spoon to replicate in my opinion, if you would just get a thicker slab of pleksi glass, or bind two of them together (one idea maybe).

Привет друг .Давненько не видел тебя .
Man kan godt høre du er fra Danmark
Sikkert - Men det er der vel heller ikke noget galt i :D
