Today we go on a tour of our local Buc-ee’s and put together a care package for our friend Jono Graham. Check out Jono’s channel here: youtube.com/@j... @jonograhamreacts
This is adorable! Thank you, and your family for doing this sweet thing for Jono and his family. When you first went inside, the stopping and “Hey, howyadoing, long time no see” made me smile and say, yep, that’s Texas Thank you for repping our great state well!
We were glad to be able to do it. And you are right - greeting folks like that (even greeting strangers as if they were friends) is definitely a Texas thing!
Thanks. We aren’t legendary by any means. We just wanted to do that for him. The idea came to me that, until Jono and his family can come to Texas, maybe we can give them the next best thing. When they finally get to Buc-ee’s in person, they will understand what all the fuss is about.
So awesome. I traveled from Ohio to California, 7 times the last few years. I love going through Texas ( I mean it's half the dang trip, lol) and love truck stops across the country. Never got into a Buc-ee's some reason. Definitely going out my way for it next trip.
I highly recommend seeing what Buc-ee’s is all about. Today, they have quite a few locations, so you might not have to go out of your way very much. I don’t know that you could call it a vacation destination, but maybe it could be a sort of bucket list type of thing.
What a nice thing to do. Good pick to send Bohemian Garlic. Slovakia of course was part of the Kingdom of Bohemia. Nowadays of course Bohemia is just a region of the neighboring Czech Republic.
As you may know, Texas (especially our area) is full of folks whose ancestors came from Bohemia, Moravia, what is now Slovakia, Germany, and Poland. Add to that the Mexican history and influence, then it’s no surprise the food is so good here!
@@buffalobillh Absolutely true about the history and the great food. There are still a lot of older families in Texas that speak German at home. Not as many as say the Mennonite/Amish communities in Pennsylvanian and Ohio but they are there.
I’m San Antonian and this is a really cool thing you did for Jono and family. Great ambassadorship! It’s easy when we have places like Buc-cee’s! Have you seen the JOLLY channel Brits. in TEXAS? Pretty good.

You and the Mrs are great Americans and great Texans Bill!
Thanks. We certainly aren’t special. We are just thrilled that we could do this for them and that the package actually arrived.
That was a very nice thing to you.. Well done bill and family
We were happy to do it!
I lived in Texas for 6 yrs and never heard of Buc-ee's. Next time I go to visit my family, I will definitely make a stop.
Stop in and see what all the fuss is about. Hope you can come back to Texas soon!

You win, Wawa does not have chopped brisket.😢

Yes, I subscribe to Jolly also. Those guys are hilarious! And you are correct - Texas has so much to offer in the way of ambassadorship!
