The rotor button for your vehicle is made by BOSCH and the Mercedes Benz part number is 104 158 01 31. On the bottom side of the rotor button, there is another set of ten digit number which is the equivalent Bosch part number.
Good day sir, I have a w126 with an earlier variant if this engine. I use it to get to school and back. I'd like to know if it is possible for me to clean the rotor and the button? I'm in no position to purchase a new rotor and button.
@@cartorx1261 went well actually! Got alot more power out of it! Came into some cash about a year ago and decided to do a full rebuild. Runs like a clock now!

Yes you can clean them both. It helps a lot if the posts have lots of carbon yes. Clean lightly until you can buy new.
Use electronics cleaner that evaporates
