I researched it online, and found out that it belongs to the Air Force. Qatar is owned by the country’s government, which also owns Qatar Airways, so the C17 is owned by the same “organization” that owns Qatar Airways. Why the livery? Because certain airports around the world don’t allow aircraft that are clearly in the military to land there. So by ditching the traditional C17 paint job and going for the Qatar Airways livery, they’re able to fly to different airports around the world while still completing it’s purpose/mission as a military transport aircraft.
