Lately I've been working my way through "old" Drama Time videos I've not yet seen, and I must say, Preach by himself is great, but when you put these two together magic really happens!
wake up around 8am (team canada) its my 21st birthday grab a beer before i get picked up for my events with friends and family. and spend some time drinking and enjoying a drama time pritty good birthday so far.
Been binge watching your Drama Time vids for a few hours now and I seriously can't wait to get enough to re-sub. It has been about 7-8 months since I've played. Gonna roll a rogue on a new realm. Fresh start...just need to decide Horde or Alliance now...been Horde since TBC.
In Vanilla-Wrath, warriors started with Heroic Strike. In Cataclysm that was changed and warriors started with Strike, but learned Heroic Strike at level 14 making Strike useless. In MoP this was changed and warriors just used Heroic Strike and never learned Strike.

The kid early on sounds extremely close to my story of wow, playing vanilla and did absolutely nothing, however I also played in BC and did nothing also-from the span of vanilla to BC I got a mage to 54-then wrath came and I was like, level 55 here I come, made a dk, however I made a gnome and later I turned him into a tauren as well. I also watched TotalBiscuit extremely late to watch cata beta on my ipod, and then I rolled a warlock, however I was a male orc. To this day I play my lock, and DK both. Depending on the timeline he also seems to be within 1 year of me. However all the RP didn't happen with me, I turned into pvp and raiding.
