El Fuego is fast and gets faster as you lower its health. It's also vampiric, so it will heal itself as it hurts you. Basically, don't get touched and it will die eventually. PA: If you leave the grove while El Fuego is chasing you, then you'll get an achievement.
Jeff, try the flame thrower with Blood magazine's nosferatic bullets, homing bullets, jet stock, sucker grip and the upgrade that increase collection range per kill for resource and money farming. The tricky bit is to get to the life on kill upgrade for the magazine and ideally nosferatic bullets before splitserpent, and then double bullet count from that boss, then the homing sight. The barrel can wait untill you have the magazine and homing bullets. Focus on bullet speed, resource drop rate / bonus, magazine size and special power. Fire rate is bad since you reset collection range on reload, crit chance and crit bonus is not needed since all the damage comes from the blood magazine and special power, the nosferatic bullets magazine upgrade makes you immortal as long as you kill 100 enemies every 4 sec, I think the duration can be increased with the upgrade that gives 1armor and effect duration. Pretty fun gun that clears the whole screen.
I mean, the drone is supposed to do a ton(/most) of damage to him - for that you need it to be ON the boss(follow crosshair with movement speed, aiming doesn't matter much) and using hellspitter barrel for x8 the bullets(you can get insane bullet counts, like 80+) that all hit the boss at the same time with 1-mag and the multipliers - the barrel you chose is bad since you need a whooping 3 speed to keep up with the boss and it's pretty hard to 'aim' the orbiting bullets whether they're on you or your drone. Your starting position is also kinda meh since you have to move through 2 'easy' zones to get to your destination - I generally get to level 55+ by staring at the top left area and clearing that before heading on to the hive right after getting the gang. Also, you can cheese the boss so it NEVER hits you while you don't move at all - just head out of it's area after it spawns and position yourself at the corner where the chasm and the wall meet, above the chasm(Where you are at 39:36 , just to the left) - the boss can phase through walls but can't go through chasms and it's turning radius is so small that it will end up just running circles around you. I just discovered this myself!
So two things. First you should have taken the brass knuckle probably. Its xp gain is huge and its final upgrade sawblade seems to multiple off other multipliers so it ends up doing tons of damage. Secondly his movement is similar to a bull. He can't turn as fast as he moves forward so you can kinda spin around him with enough move speed. That being said you can never outscale his move speed he seems to scale with you to an extent. Even with rush in a straight line he will catch you. I have seen posts of people beating him with a full tank build as well so that is also possible. Apparently he also does not follow other boss rules and can get stuck on some terrain like the bottomless pits if you wanted to try and pull him out of that arena. Haven't tested that one though.
The problem with that is that it needs 4 upgrades that don't help much with your stats and this build is limited by levels. Getting a stock/grip that just gives good stats at the first level works best most of the time.
I think if you don't have the world's tankiest build, you need the jet stock to even have a chance. Build up the XP around the edges of the arena, then keep outrunning el fuego with magnets and your map borders.
I feel like hellspitter is the play over the circle barrel as your goal with a broken gun is to kill the entire screen before they get that close to begin with. If you have enough fire rate it's definitely doable.
The Orbital Attack has a LOT more Boss DPS than the Hellspitter. It's not even close. Of course if El Fuego is inside your circle, you're kinda screwed though.
Yeah I agree the story was a let down in d4 common consensus but, I just like the aesthetic and how the speed is between d2 and d4 minus the spirit born bugs clearing instantly and making it basically the only class to run. I got my 3 weeks out of the expansion and did the raid with friends a few times so I’m satisfied with that at least.
I think my biggest problem with D4 is that it did nothing to progress the genre. The open world could have been done so much better. But it's basically just event hubs. It's an fun game to play super casual for a week or 2 a season but that's about it. Poe2 soon 👀
I played beta. Didn’t like poe1 but, I do like poe2. It doesn’t feel clunky like 1 does. Looking forward to its full release cause I will not be getting into early access if it’s tied to keys like the original was but will be looking forward to full release
As Sparky said, there's a room you unlock at the top left of the base that contains the drop pod stuff. You'll have to find the unlock puzzle on the map to access the banish pod.
If you're building a bullet damage centric gun, why are you taking special power tunings? And bullet size? Drop capacity is great, however due to the way it works, you dont need more than 160%. Orbital does nothing (except the very first time it approaches you, you're never gonna outrun it with that gun). Drone gun also need to be buffed up.
You can read 1.1x whatever increase in whatever as 10% increase. So 1.35 times is 35% increase. Whar confuses my brain is the red numbers for the debuffs that items inflict.
you miss the knuckles grip that gives 3x damage with last bullet

Taking anything that drops your movement speed isn't recommended for el fuego runs

@@cogarg80 Except its first two levels combined increase your xp gain by 65%. Getting it early can easily add another 5 levels to the end of the game.
I think jet stock is the play. More movement speed and Crit bonus

When or how do you get the banish skills? I haven't got that yet in my gameplay.
Check out the top left room in your base
As Sparky said, there's a room you unlock at the top left of the base that contains the drop pod stuff. You'll have to find the unlock puzzle on the map to access the banish pod.
