A perfect song for a Job season, I have a friend who is currently in the season and when I heard the song, my God I was in awe of the power behind the words, they reassure one of God's promises in the midst of a dry cold season. Alishabohope 1233 He has written a couple songs for Hillsong and been the worship leader in some. My favorite are Captain, So Will I, Glimmer in the Dust and of course Seasons.
This just touched my soul this morning. We all have those hard moments that we just want to be over and being patient is hard when you are hurting but to know if God is taking a long time to work a great plan for us, isn’t it worth the wait? Even in pain to know something great will come after and that multiple “down” seasons are just that, temporary. I know when my mother died when I was little I never thought that could bring anything good but I think it has made me a much more empathetic person, a kinder mom (I used to be angry a lot as a kid). I miss her but she was suffering with cancer and God was kind and released her from that when she could no longer fight. Ironically the same thing that angered me and pushed me away from him as a child has made my Faith stronger than it would have ever been without that pain in my life.
Guys, this song has just given me new strength! It felt like a direct touch from our loving father

Nice worship I've listened today from Kenya, God's blessings to you guys and all that are watching.
I sang this song for my work team at our Christmas party last year. We'd all been going through massive challenges with a workplace overhaul and many of us experiencing personal difficulties as well. It was so well received by my colleagues thankfully, all of us coming from varied backgrounds. I believe the message of HOPE in the hard times is universal, but it is one of the main strands of the Christian faith. It's the reason we flourish under persecution. The God of greatness.. even in a manger. QQ
