All I can think about is the hope that we have in Christ, no matter how desperate we may feel in our circumstances, we know He is with us. I just wish my dad could have known this same hope, instead of yielding to the voice of the enemy as he took his own life. It's been 20 years, and it still leaves a void, and yet I have been kept close to my Savior. All I can say is that if you're battling with any type of depression, guilt, shame or whatever...know that you are deeply valued and loved by Jesus. He is the other one in the fire with you.
A couple months ago I was where your father was and almost succeeded, but God spoke to me and said NO! Look at what is before you, and what I saw were my 3 Princes that he blessed me with when doctors said I would never have!! You must live. Everyday is a struggle with depression but God keeps me near as I seek His Word and Comfort daily. Faith without seeing is the key.❤ Blessed God has lifted me out of the fire the snare that the devil had for me.
One thing I like about Joe , he is humble that’s why God allows him to get into the throne room to download heavenly lyrics. His song writing skills is inspired by the Holy Spirit
On the contrary, He is now, and always has been, in wilful disobedience of the clear and practical commands of Scripture, which shows he has a rebellious spirit and that his conversion is not complete - and these words are obviously not from the throne room!
@@SuperJ333 Please elaborate clearly with solid evidence to support your argument, if not all your words are based of assumptions and seen from a subjective point of view; firstly, define the "wilful disobedience" against "the clear and practical commands of Scripture". Provide evidence that you have had first-hand information about his "rebellious spirit", in which you had analysed thoroughly to come up with your statement. Elaborate on what is this "conversion' you mentioned in your statement, and provide clear and obvious end result of a complete "conversion".
Hi Enoch - good questions, but in order to answer them meaningfully we would have to consider some erroneous underlying basic assumptions that are common in today's apostate church, extremely popular, but nevertheless un-scriptural. I think the main one here would be the idea that we are already completely 'saved' and that we can't loose that salvation. Simply reading Paul's letters will show that even he didn't think he was 'saved' but only hoped he might be found worthy to finally inherit what has been promised, and to that end he beat his body into submission and 'strived' to reach the goal. How different from the nonsense being propagated from most of today's 'end-time' pulpits! Preachers of this "once-saved-always-saved' doctrine of demons need to explain passages like Hebrews chapter 6, Hebrews chapter 10, most especially Matthew 7: 21-23 (and there are some amazing twists on that one) John chapter 14, and the parable of the sheep and the goats in Matthew 25, where the ONLY difference between the sheep and the goats was what they did, and didn't, DO! Sadly, this line of Bible study usually elicits accusations of 'legalism' and 'salvation by works' nowadays. And it's a big subject for this format, but I'l do the best I can, albeit briefly. Our initial encounter with God - what's correctly called being 'born again' (John 3:3) is not all there is to salvation, and we need to stop using inaccurate phrases like "getting saved" to refer to it. When Paul was struck down by that great light, and a voice said 'I am Jesus whom you are persecuting' he was born again. But if we read his later account of the incident in Acts 22, he told the crowd in Jerusalem that he then said 'what would you have me DO Lord?' At that point his conversion was complete, because he acknowledged that Christ was Lord, and his obedience was required - as Jesus Himself said in Matthew 7 and 25. However, that was not the end of matters, because we are to 'be holy, for without holiness no-one will see the Lord,' and just as we can receive the baptism and gifts of the Spirit, so we can receive entire sanctification, if we seek it - and even then we still need to persevere to the very end, and through obedience, faith and patience, inherit what has been promised, for even the righteous are only just saved. Paul therefore encourages us to CONTINUE to WORK OUT our salvation, with fear and trembling. Now we may know the will of God, because it's in the Old Book - however, the church has ceased to 'tremble' at His word. But it's not a book of suggestions or Christian opinions, it's the constitution of the kingdom of heaven, without temporal or cultural limitations, to which we must conform in all matters of belief and practice. So now you'll read "if a man has long hair it is a disgrace to him" but it's a simple practical matter to go to the barbers and have your hair made a proper length - you may say that it's the fashion, but we're not to be conformed to worldly fashions, but transformed by renewing our minds in God's wonderful word. And again you'll read that if a man covers his head (in church) he dishonours his Head (Christ). So where there's any resistance to something as simple as getting a haircut, or removing a hat indoors, it's a sign that this person's conversion is not yet complete - disobedience in such basic requirements shows that a formerly rebellious spirit is not yet fully submitted to Christ. In fact these are fleshly affectations - not spiritually motivated, but 'soulish' - and the soulish realm is the realm of demons, so if they're not dealt with there's an opportunity for the enemy to encourage more serious forms of disobedience and rebellion - and "rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft." Of course people will say that God looks on the heart and we don't know people's hearts, but it's not true. The Bible says, for example, that "out of the fullness of the heart the mouth speaks" so we can hear, and that God judges each man's WORK (not heart) and we can do the same - we can see what they DO. Looking at the thumbnails at the side of this video it easy to see who's mind is on the flesh, and who's is on spiritual things - tattoos, piercings, long hair for men (and short for women) head covering for men (and lack of it for women) all speak of hearts not as yet submitted to Christ, and, if we probe, no doubt more serious rebelliousness would be revealed - adulterous re-marriages would be a common one in today's church, and that' a salvation issue. God bless.
Same here, because although at the time I felt alone, in those deep dark valleys of depression, addiction, anxiety and fear...... Now, I am delivered and free and I weep at the thought that there was another in the fire the whole time, no doubt.
Glory to Jesus!!! This is just all I needed to hear. I am reassured of He who is with me through it all. There's No more suicidal thoughts for me and everyone going through a hard time. In Jesus name I decree. Amen. God is always faithful. "I will count the joy through every battle."

My three favorite singers of Hillsong. Wow, they sure have changed their looks. Almost didn't recognize them with the beards. Wonderful song. They will never know how they have changed my life.
First time hearing this: won't be the last. Masterful harmonies and excellent vocal mixing. Mostly though is the encouraging affirmation to my heart and spirit that I'M NOT ALONE! I'm so, so grateful for God raising up new voices, new songs of worship, sweetly and gently drawing us to Jesus and away from all the voices of this world that desire for, clamor for my attention. Another in the fire 🔥 very close to me YAHSHUA 😍👼🏻
There's a grace when the heart is under fire
Another way when the walls are closing in
And when I look at the space between
Where I used to be and this reckoning
I know I will never be alone
There was another in the fire
Standing next to me
There was another in the waters
Holding back the seas
And should I ever need reminding
Of how I've been set free
There is a cross that bears the burden
Where another died for me
There is another in the fire
All my debt left for dead beneath the waters
I'm no longer a slave to my sin anymore
And should I fall in the space between
What remains of me and this reckoning
Either way I won't bow
To the things of this world
And I know I will never be alone
There is another in the fire
Standing next to me
There is another in the waters
Holding back the seas
And should I ever need reminding
What power set me free
There is a grave that holds no body
And now that power lives in me
There is another in the fire
There is another in the fire
There is another in the fire
There is another in the fire
I can see the light in the darkness
As the darkness bows to him
I can hear the roar in the heavens
As the space between wears thin
I can feel the ground shake beneath us
As the prison walls cave in
Nothing stands between us
Nothing stands between us
There is no other name
But the name that is Jesus
He who was and still is
And will be through it all
So come what may in the space between
All the things unseen
And this reckoning
I know I will never be alone
I know I will never be alone
There'll be another in the fire
Standing next to me
There'll be another in the waters
Holding back the seas
And should I ever need reminding
How good You've been to me
I'll count the joy come every battle
Cause I know that's where You'll be
I can see the light in the darkness
As the darkness bows to him
I can hear the roar in the heavens
As the space between wears thin
I can feel the ground shake beneath us
As the prison walls cave in
Nothing stands between us
Nothing stands between us
There'll be another in the fire
Standing next to me
There'll be another in the waters
Holding back the seas
And should I ever need reminding
How good You've been to me
I'll count the joy come every battle
Cause I know that's where You'll be
I'll count the joy come every battle
Cause I know that's where You'll be
I'll count the joy come every battle
Cause I know that's where You'll be
I'll count the joy come every battle
Cause I know that's where You'll be
I'll count the joy come every battle
Cause I know that's where You'll be
