  • In this episode we look at dismantling, checking over and if need be replacing worn parts.
At the end of summer, a must is to check over your models especially helicopters, for general wear and tear and here is an example of what too look for.

Just for info's sake, Spin blades are carbon construction and are in fact designed to flex like that while remaining torsionally strong.
The semi symmetrical profile offers efficiency increasing flight run times.
While there have been some examples of poorly made sets become evident in last few years, there are also many multi blades sets out there that work very well without issue.
What would be good to know is are your set well matched in both centre of gravity and weights?

What a flex in those blades. Are they from Spinblades? I

Yes they are Spin Blades. I have carbon blades that are the same size that don’t flex at all

Thnx for the info. I was planning to order the 5 blades set from Spinblades, but now I'm thinking about something else.
Have the same MD500D fuse and transform it in a AH-6.

Might be wise. Spin blades are semi symmetrical blades to so swapping for carbon fully symmetrical for mine
