Young, inspiring Elena Rybakina is like a gentle force of nature. For a player who was first discouraged from ice skating and gymnastics because she was too tall, the talented professional tennis player seems to be doing great on the tennis courts.
A former Wimbledon champion, Elena plays her games with so much calm and serenity, while still excelling at most of her matches. The Kazakhstan professional athlete won her first WTA 1000 title at the 2023 BNP Paribas Open this year and is currently the highest ranked Kazakhstani singles player on the Women Tennis Association rankings. She has not failed to show remarkable talent at every game she plays, thus prompting the question What really happened to Elena Rybakina?

I think that much more class and charisma has been brought by 1GA SWATEK. Open natural, humbke and yet has been fighting for equality between women and men in tennis. Openly speaks about problems touching women in WTA. Rybakina is 2 years older, very hermetic introvert. At every conference says the same few sentences. Did not react classy to 1GA's injury. Plyed 3 out of six matches. I wonder how she will play without point by point coaching which will be forbidden in Paris. She plays coached point by point by Wukov. She lack tactics of her own. We will see what future brings. It is not easy to win tournaments in a row. She was totally exhausted at the beggining of the match with Kalinina till 4:4. Good luck to all players in RG Paris. Do not crown beforehand. As for now 1GA is the queen. It is sad she was injured twice this season. This is the price for an outstanding 2022 season with 6 titles including 2 GS and a 37 streak. When Rybakina equals that the may the queen but there is still IGA Sabalenka, Ons Jabeur, Pegula, Badosa and a few other very very good players.

If you’re a fan you know what happened to Elena Rybakina, she put in the time and became better! As tennis fans, we don’t have a clue when a player will have a breakthrough or become a top ten with consistency. All we can do is guess and become a fan before or after. Rodger Feder said about his retirement that all his fans after he retires will just become fans of someone else. I’m a tennis fan, not an American tennis fan or a Russian tennis fan, or even a Polish tennis fan, I’m simply a tennis fan with a big smile lately watching Rybakina climb up the rankings.♦

@@richietaylor9870 I already mentioned one thing that they are judging her because she is Russian by blood but nationality wise she is Kazakhstani but they don't think she is Kazakhstani on the other hand Pegula is American and her father and mother both of them are billionaires they owned Bullafo Team (American Footbal) and WTA President Is Andy Rodrick from USA so nepotism always works. I am not judging pegula because of her billionaire lifestyle, she works really hard and earned her own money and pay her own bill and for that hats off to her I am only judging her because she didn't even won any major single titles or too much of wta tournaments she reached quater/ semi finals that's all and I think one wta title last year or this year she won ,but still she got a good rank i mean under top 10 on the other hand Rybakina she won a major titles Wimbledon count as "Olympics Of Tennis" ,won and runner up to many wta tournaments but still she wasn't even in the top 10 I think like me many people are noticing and complaining about it so that's why wta decided to give her a rank below 5 and now 4th rank. Rybakina is a gentle giant person who doesn't shows her emotions and don't shouted or fight like karen. So as a fan of her I have to and many of us have to stand for her that's all..

i think her decision to change nationality is one of the most critical point in her career + also a very smart move for both her & Kazakhtan.. She can't even afford a personal coach until she turns Kazakh!!! & tennis is a very, very, very expensive sport (if u aim to be an elite).
..for Russia to claim that she's their product, sounds pretty lame to me.. Yes, she began her tennis journey there but they did not gave her enough attention to make her to become a WTA title winner..
With these 3 amazing great players..Iga, Saba & Elena (+ maybe Ons too) battling each other out, women tennis can only gets better in years to come.. 💜💜💜
note: by the way im a very passionate Emma's fan & hope she'll find her winning touch again. (u can't blame me..im a Brit, ok? but i do love Elena too so much so that IF she plays against any other player than Emma, i'll be rooting for her 200%..so..dont troll me ya 😊😊😊)
