  • www.sureservo.com (VID-MC-0003) In this video we will hook up a SureServo system and quickly jog the servo motor to verify proper operation. You will need a SureServo servo drive, servo motor, a motor power cable, motor feedback cable, and a power source. Most importantly you should have a copy of the SureServo manual. You can download it for free from www.sureservo.com/usermanuals.htm

    The SureServo product is definitely easy to use and very affordable for what it can do. Although I do wish some of the smaller models could be powered from 120VAC instead of 230VAC 3 phase....!

      Even 230v single phase would be fine. That’s what my BST servos are and they convert to 3 phase internally like a vfd. Awesome drives and servos.

    hi there, good video. how much is a 3 axis fully closed loop AC servo, single phase setup likely to cost minimum? i plan to retrofit my small cnc mill from crappy and noisy stepper motors to something a lot more accurate and reliable, and of course on a tight budget lol also with limited knowledge on how to do so. also if its any help my machine i plan to upgrade is a Denford Triac. i have videos on my youtube channel of it in operation
    thanks in advance for your advice.

    Hello.. Will your drive work with other servo motors with resolvers..? and vise-versa ..Rgds

    • @automationdirect
      @automationdirect  5 лет назад

      Automation Direct’s SureServo servo drives do not support third party motors. They are a matched set and the settings and parameters in the drive are set up to work with the applicable SureServo motors. The encoder feedback signal type is also specific to the drive so resolvers will not work either.

    Do you sell that handy looking cable, breaker and e-stop with enclosure setup?

    • @automationdirect
      @automationdirect  3 года назад

      We sell all the components. Some assembly required ... (grin)
      Go to Automationdirect.com and search for:
      1. "Pushbutton enclosures"
      2. "Estop pushbutton" or just "ESTOP"
      3. "SureServo Cable"
      Use the menu on the left to narrow choices.
      Also, keep an eye out for a newer/better/less expensive/single phase servo system in the very near future. Be sure to subscribe to the channel so you are notified when those videos go live.

      @sherwin requioma, thanks for the comment. If this is running using our SureServo drive I would call into our Tech support team for help. 1-800-633-0405. If not, I would call the drive manufacturer for help. Its sounds, that you either have some overloading on the motor or incorrect setting in the drive.
