I absolutely love that some of them are slender rather than skinny. You hope that means health is being prioritized over aesthetics and cultural expectations. It makes me nervous seeing a bunch of skinny idols, having heard the stories about what some of them went through
Yeah and they work HARD. Food is fuel and it breaks my heart to think of young idols starving themselves when they’re athletes who should eat MORE. I hope they go nuts on burgers after a performance, they deserve it!
@yiamitannot everyone. Chisa and Jurin are naturally slender and skinny. But the girls like Harvey and Cocona arent. In any other label theyd be forced to starve (remember Ryujin? Momo?)
@@adayang7068 i’m so happy to see how xg is turning out because i was a bit wary of jakops as an executive producer at first… but he’s doing very great at treating these girls and their talent with respect and as not marketing objects.
I think they made it a point not to unhealthily change them and just allowed the girls to grow, because they did say they want to be different from the current industry of idols. It’s such a nice change.
