I can relate it when i took my vacation to The Philippines few years ago my flight from Kuwait-Dubai-Manila I forgot my hand bag in the last security checked in Dubai with everything in it. I’m holding only my passport, ticket and boarding pass. Thanks God I remember to use my mobile phone while we are still in the departure area. My God I feel like I have a high fever when I realized I left my hand bag in the police , luckily I remember where exactly I left it. I go direct to the police who checked my hand carry bag and still have 15mins before gate close.
Make sure u have everything before you board make a check list how many bags u have and the colors, etc. Make a check list of important documents and inspect everything before you board. I have many bills every month and I rarely miss the payments.
I have a Filipina wife and 5 kids, 29 years with her (have lived 13 years in the Philippines). I would never let her/kids go to India. Big mistake (IMO), did you research that country first? Very very very sorry for your loss and hope for a positive outcome. 🙏
Oh Jelena, we are so shocked 😮 So sad this happened to you, it is really a bad experience. We always wear a thin fanny pack under our clothes with documents and money when we travel. But yes, you never know when you lose it in the security checks 😢 We lost 1 suitcase, it came later but a lot things were missing in the bag. Even chocolate somebody has stolen. The bag was locked but somebody opened it. To travel is always risky. We hope for you that you get your bag back. God bless you and give you strenght dear Jelena ❤

Losing a bag is not the worst thing that can happen in India. My friend was bitten in Goa by a small dog. And yes, she died of rabies. It was in 2018. Maybe the loss of a bag is a sign and it is better to leave there. I would never go to India, even with a man, it's dangerous there for women and girls. May God keep and protect you !
I almost cried with you watching your video, wished I could give you a hug right there. You need support. If they don't find it for you, what I would do is after Goa fly back to Delhi and ask for security cameras, get and Indian friend with you ideally local from Delhi, even lawyer. Go prepared. If someone from the employees tried to hide it, cameras would likely reveal or give a clue. Be persistent and hard on them, but get yourself a local friend first and if they can bring a lawyer friend with them to scare them would be best. Best of luck dear, will keep you in my mind. If you remembered taking the bag after they checked it, then you lost it while running along the way to the plane, either it fell from your cart or someone took it from your cart. Hopefully there are cctvs that could help with the investigation in case you get a lawyer. It is a big loss and we feel bad for you. As the only adult you are responsible to hold on to the most important bag so this is a hard lesson to learn to be more aware of the important stuff while traveling. . As travelers, we are always pressured and stressed in airports , transfers, check-in, short connections etc. One thing I do when traveling with kids or other adults is make an actual count of all our check in bags, all hand carry bags/purses/backpacks every time we transfer/check-in/ claim luggages/ taxi loading/unloading/ hotel checkin /chk out. I have a couple of words of advice, first, Filipinos don’t like to be taken as fools that’s why all the negative comments about the title. Just be honest with your titles and you’ll gain their trust. Second, I think you got scammed at the airport. The fact that they’re pushing you to take the connecting flight is suspect. Seems like they work as a team. Please please be vigilant when traveling through airports. best is travel light! No check in bags. You can always do laundry if you need. Before flying, check what items that are not allowed to pack and you’ll be fine. Hoping for the best.🙏🏻 Be safe out there.
You can claim some amount at the airlines or airport where it was lost . Just connect with them, email or call and put it on record with them . If that buggage is really lost “hopefully not” An amount can be helpful by claiming the lost luggage Inthink it has certain amounts equivalent . This can lessen to cover some of the expenses in restoring documents and some cash that’s been lost in case. I agree the important is you guys are safe . I can’t imagine how it must have been stressful in your side but just hold on and no giving up. Everything will be fine .

Are you German citizen? Call German embassy, maybe they can pull some strings and help you. Also by traveling a lot to many different places with your kids , you are actually impeding the social development of your kids where they don’t develope lasting friends and a sense of belonging . Settle or immigrate to one good country ( maybe in Europe , Australia , a stable Asian country) , have your kids go to a decent grade school, high school and then college. Being so educated they will fare well in their lives later.

Circumstances in my life have allowed me to travel to many countries, especially North America and I understand the loss. I may be far from you and have watched your vlogs a few times. However, I have noticed that you keep leaving the Philippines, which obviously is your right to do so. Still, MAYBE, this loss of yours is a sign from God that you have to stay put where you have set up roots already. This is not based on religion but based on Spirituality. On another note, I’m quite concerned about her decision to visit India, especially with children. Have you seen the alarming reports about foreigners facing safety issues there? Even locals have experienced serious crimes like robbery and, in the worst cases, rape. Her decision feels reckless, and it’s hard to understand why she would take such risks.
It is not easy to travel, but one must remind each other for the handcarries, for the luggages, that nothing left..

I have a couple of words of advice, first, Filipinos don’t like to be taken as fools that’s why all the negative comments about the title. Just be honest with your titles and you’ll gain their trust.
Second, I think you got scammed at the airport. The fact that they’re pushing you to take the connecting flight is suspect. Seems like they work as a team.

You can claim some amount at the airlines or airport where it was lost . Just connect with them, email or call and put it on record with them . If that buggage is really lost “hopefully not” An amount can be helpful by claiming the lost luggage Inthink it has certain amounts equivalent . This can lessen to cover some of the expenses in restoring documents and some cash that’s been lost in case. I agree the important is you guys are safe . I can’t imagine how it must have been stressful in your side but just hold on and no giving up. Everything will be fine .
It was not checked in buggage, it was carry on... airline has nothing to do with that...

Perhaps, we shouldn’t be judgmental as we would not want others to pass judgment on our own life choices. Are we living the perfect life? Are we happy? Jelena, Emma, & Dominic look happy living & growing together, hanging out, and sharing precious moments with each other, and that is most important.
I don't know why but as a single mother, specially with a daughter, not sure if travelling alone in India is actually safe.

Are you German citizen? Call German embassy, maybe they can pull some strings and help you.
Also by traveling a lot to many different places with your kids , you are actually impeding the social development of your kids where they don’t develope lasting friends and a sense of belonging . Settle or immigrate to one good country ( maybe in Europe , Australia , a stable Asian country) , have your kids go to a decent grade school, high school and then college. Being so educated they will fare well in their lives later.

This lady is a blogger and has been blogging for many years from her hometown of a Russian Federation country to Germany with her so-called husband to Philippines .I don't believe she lost her documents and money and didn't blog or looking distraught. I have travelled most of Europe, North America, North Africa and Asian countries for the past 42 years since my kids were small and I hold on to my documents in my bag slung to my armpits.I feel she's not being honest and using us for clout . Travelling is exciting but just be cautious & safety first because the world can also be scary if you are at the wrong place at the wrong time.. travelling adventures can really be addictive but as you know there are also some downsides ..

Circumstances in my life have allowed me to travel to many countries, especially North America and I understand the loss. I may be far from you and have watched your vlogs a few times. However, I have noticed that you keep leaving the Philippines, which obviously is your right to do so. Still, MAYBE, this loss of yours is a sign from God that you have to stay put where you have set up roots already. This is not based on religion but based on Spirituality. Perhaps you could ask God for guidance and what his will is for you.
