  • I have a beautiful "Clear Douglas Fir" workbench, and it needed a refresh before I finalized my new laser set up. The refinish came out amazing and makes me appreciate the material even more.
A few of my workbench tools:
    FlashForge Adventurer 4 - amzn.to/3l6u0xM
    FlashForge Adventurer 3 - amzn.to/3iYJ8tf
    Ortur Laser Master Pro 2 - amzn.to/3Feu5X2

Wow. That woods gorgeous. I would seriously think about replacing it with some new wood. Then use that in making a nice piece of furniture. Hate to beat it up again.

See - I'm in the camp of it's so nice that its more fun to see it in its huge clean form where I spend a majority of my time - if you chop it up and make something from it you sort of lose what makes this type of first special, which is the reveal that its completely free of knots, and its so easy to sand down and with how I have my latest set up happen, it should see minimal abuse since its where my bigger fabrication devices are.
