@@yeahwing definitely! Thailand because I only was there had the best food at stalls which looked like this one
I think it was clean, those are old equipment and maybe those stains are permanent now
@@weebbanana7895 I was thinking that too, but the only thing that i kept thinking about was the lettuce chopping machine area, the walls around it. No offense or anything to Sensei.
Fact !
Thanks for all the amazing content Paolo! You've kept me sane through covid :)
Oh my goodness I love your videos! I owned a restaurant in Dallas and spent most of my career in the business. So much respect for what you do.
I loved watching this! I still can’t get over their completely worn out chopping board 😆. The owner reminded me of an old surfer teacher I had in Oahu and I also called him “Sensei” - I thoroughly enjoyed this video!
This is probably one of my favorite videos! I love the realness and unique personality of the chef! :D
i love the way the owner is giving some advice to us youngsters. long live sensei and to this program.
The food looks delicious and the staff look like great people. Japan is tough, but lovely.
Love this new series! The food is always a win. But the history, the stories, the life lessons really makes the series. Can't wait to see what's next! :)
I really like this behind the scenes, old traditional restaurants, real people, great stories.
The chef/owner is quite a character, and it shows through his shop too. Allowing some mass, worn out equipments, grease slabs n mouldy surface but he got his eyes on the goal - affordable good food. Good on him
My wife and I really enjoyed this one, looking forward to the next Behind The Counter!
Sensei have so much charisma 🙌
Really like this new series. I'd like to see a Behind the Scenes of a Mochi/Manju shop
I love these kind of videos. It gives the viewers a peek on the local street scene in Japan.
More videos like this!
THOSE are the kinds of people I met when I lived in Japan. LOVE IT LOVE IT.
ahhh love all of their personalities! everybody looks hella wholesome and cute when getting asked questions! ; _ ;
especially the older chef. he looked so adorable and excited to answer your questions ; _ ; ♥ hope we'll get to travel soon!
I wish I had the money to renovate sensei's kitchen. He deserves it! Such an amazing man ❤️🥺
I wouldn't want to change the "character" of that kitchen too much (although some would call it something else.) I would, however, be willing to pitch in for a couple of bags of of Quickrete to fill in that trench in the floor. Sensei gonna twist an ankle!
@@StubbyPhillips very much agree. It's character is charming 😊
A good scrub won't hurt
I would just repair the floor and maybe change some items like the cutting board with a new one ahah
It doesn't have to be moldy in every corner to have a "character" A lot of it deserves to be cleaned or renovated
Such a wise man. Would love to eat at his restaurant when there is little crowd and hear him share about life lessons
Paolo I'm really proud of your content. And love the way you interact with people.
