I like to imagine the chess pieces as in a real battle but same rules Pawns have a super cartoonish shotgun is NO RANGE Knights uhhhhhhh stab u but thy can only do it if your at an angle. I mean they get an entre horse to climb over. Rooks r like a reignheart charge. Thu obliterate anything in a straight line. Bishops got a Titian fall 2 grapple hook. Queens just have a literal anti material rifle And kings just have a short knife.
Here is a way to checkmate with queen easily. Instead of just doing check check check, put your queen in knight position from the other king. Any move the other king makes, do that move with the queen. When he reaches the corner, leave 2 squares available for him to move while you bring your king closer. Then you know what to do
