GPU boosting all the time and is cool. Power consumption also ok. Factory standard "overclock". 🏆
The reported VRAM speed of 1250 MHz in Linux is actually 2500 MHz effective speed due to the Double Data Rate (DDR) nature of the memory, which doubles the base clock speed. Linux reports the base VRAM speed, not the effective speed. 🧐
Additional comment: I don't intend to tinker with the GPU for a long time, since it works so well out of the box. Maybe when it gets old, I'll undervolt and overclock a bit. My experience with AMD GPUs is, that undervolting should work quite well actually - it would probably be better, but not having to take care of 1 more aditional configuration file is also worth something. 👌
