Good video Matt. Just as a wee tip for you, the E on the fuel gauge stands for empty not Enough! Should help you from future embarrassing situations. 😂
Put capacitors on the supplies to counter act the led noise. Both large and sized capacitor for higher value uF caps to even out supply and 10 nF capacitors to even out and filter higher frequency noise to battery ground. Put across the supply gnd inside the led case of the lights.
Love your videos mate!! I used to regularly toast my ham and cheese sarnies on the manifold/turbo of my Case 1694. They were always done to perfection!! I even lit a ciggy off the manifold when giving it beans in a heavy grass crop...just worked, but saved my day after my lighter threw its flint out! 🥶🤯😡
Great footage Matt a lot of people don’t realise how much effort is put in to get started on cropping, I showed a couple of city boys a couple of your vlogs and the couldn’t believe the effort involved, so I have organised with them to come up here to northern Tassie a mate is a veggie farmer and is getting ready to put spring crops in , they honestly thought farming was easy but after watching you lot repairing machinery and organising everything that is needed to be done now you have a couple more viewers watching you in action , keep up the great vlogs all the best from Tassie
Thank you for sharing. I do realize making these videos is quite disruptive, also requiring good bit of effort. Alas your a farmer hard work comes natural. Thanks mate!
Used to Cook on the drill rig’s engine. Always a fine job with one exception. Sweet Sue Chicken and Dumplins in a pop top can. It exploded. All over the mast.
Nice to see the next generation taking an interest in machinery and farming 😊 ...Warming smoko or lunch on the engine is a great trick , train driver's here on the coast often called into the bakery for pies 🥧 and sausage rolls and would heat them on the engine of the locomotive 🚂 👍.
Excellent video, Matt! All your hard work in the shop has paid off handsomely. When I was driving, before retirement, I always carried a roll of paper towels and a bottle of Windex, so that, if I was delayed for some reason, I had the time to clean my windows and mirrors as needed. Anything to redeem the time, as you well know. I noted that your dad didn't have anything to say when he brought you the fuel; I know the feeling! Great work, mate !
I love sowing and harvest season, takes me back to the 60s on the farm driving the Ferguson and David brown tractors, with discs, seed drills and the old tow behind harvester . Great images Matt.
Hi Matt, absolutely outstanding drone footage of all the vehicles on the edge of paddock and working. Interesting clarifying the block terminology for people. I must say all you guys seem to get on pretty well together and I’ve not seen anyone of you doing your block.😊. Although if you did lose your lunch in the motor, I’m sure you probably would do you block
Great Video Matt another season to work on hope you have a good one the Property looks magnificent stay on top of things ,,,I enjoy watching your Videos it calms me down ..Do you have any natural hot springs on the property 🙏🙏❤️❤️👍👍😄🦘🇦🇺
Great to see different tyoe of country, Matt!! Do you tend to sow on the contour line of the ground in this lighter country or which ever have the longest runs??
Is that your Y62 Matty? They're a proper car. We love ours. Glad the air flow cleaner is working well. We looked at that one but decided to get a new one. Already put 300 tonnes through it and amazed at what it removes with just air. I'll be building a scalper at some stage to remove any large heavy debris that is more difficult to blow out without sacrificing good seed.
Great drone shots. Do you add a bit of zinc (oxide) to those areas that have been scalped by the dozer, seems to help when topsoil is mixed with subsoil? Might help to reduce depressed yield in the banks, certainly helps a few kms further south. Could try a few sq m to see if it makes a difference?
Matt. With the price of seed, you would expect that every seed has been inspected by a Vestal Virgin and certified as 100% perfect with no dross. Do you return all the dross back to the seed supplier and get a rebate? 😉👍🏴
Hi Matt ... confused about timing of activities ... it looked like the Kelly Chains were going over where you had sprayed ... is that correct?? And your cutting the turns out of the drone shots again!!! 😫 Interesting country ... looks like extinct volcano cores in the background... 🙂🙂 ..... Did you sort out the guy using your D11 footage??
Hi mate, the Kelly chains where just ahead of me smoothing sections👍 I usually try and get the turns on the drone but I was trying to turn in the sprayer while filming Phil turn😂😂
You need to put your food on the exhaust manifold to get the heat your looking for We heat up lasagna on “cold” mornings here in North Queensland doing bananas
Hey Matt, further on from your explanation about blocks and farms am I correct that Jackson Brothers own 3 farms and lease a further two. Am I right 👍 or wrong 👎
Love the lunch being warmed in the engine. Whatever works & does the job.
Good luck seeding linseed Phil
Great job spraying Matt
Awesome drone footage Matt
Seed cleaner did a great job Matt
Good video Matt. Just as a wee tip for you, the E on the fuel gauge stands for empty not Enough! Should help you from future embarrassing situations. 😂
😂😂 gauge hasn’t worked for years haha
Seed cleaner doing a fantastic job. And no hiding places for anyone with the drone footage
One thing your videos has taught us is that farming isn't easy

Dads get that look and silence better be silent yourself. 🤒
Warming your lunch ,been there on a dozer in the winter put it on the manifold turn once about a hr good grazing 😊

7:27 completely different landscape to north east Vic, thanks for sharing
Modification needed, 1 sandwich warmer welded to exhaust/turbo area on all machines. Got to keep Matt’s lunch warm.😊😊😊
I agree! 😂

Pretty ground lot like what I farmed you guys do a nice job
Love seeing the triple 5 in action.
In the hills.. what a wonderful landscape.. Jeepers a Mallee cocky would need an Altimetre to make his way around that block !
😂😂
LOL who are kidding you blokes will rebuild the motor in sprayer.
Yeah you can see right through us😂😂
Cute, there's little Matt. Those lights look quality, and yes those cheap leds are not good. Please show us a night shot from in the cab.
Hoping too soon👍 I never seem to get a chance to test them on the tractor😂
Very good Video 👍 👍
You can get filters for noisy LED's now

Great to see different tyoe of country, Matt!! Do you tend to sow on the contour line of the ground in this lighter country or which ever have the longest runs??
Hi John, tends to be whatever is most economical which usually means longest runs👍😁

That aircleane4 on the sprayer you were operating Matt, seemed to be a little wobbly.....
It’s just the rubber mount that bolts it on, if it’s stops wobbling then there’s a problem😂😂
Love your work. My wife and i would love to know where abouts in N.S.W are you farming. Looks awesome.
Hi Sean, we farm around the Moree area👍😁

Looks like the Cockys might like the seed cleaning waste material
Hi Matt. How many hours has the grasshopper done?
Hi bob, it’s probably got around 10000hrs on it👍
Hi Matt, love the drone footage, what range has it got and what brand?
Thanks mate, it’s a dji mavic air 2 and it can fly about 10ks away👍
You need to put your food on the exhaust manifold to get the heat your looking for
We heat up lasagna on “cold” mornings here in North Queensland doing bananas
Yep I was hoping too but there was nowhere to put it without risking it falling off😂
Hey Jackson brothers, we would like to ask how many brothers are there and how many acres is your property’s?
Hi mate, Brad, Phil and I (Matt) are brothers and Peter is our father👍 currently farming about 2500hectares
What sort of distance are we talking about between the different blocks and what size are they?
So the development block is 2500 acres and about 30klms from the main farm, the new lease block is another 20 or so klms and is about 400acres👍
Mat is the cat not going to do any work this year
Hope that’s not the case😳 still waiting on injectors
What’s the total amount of hectares that you are farming guys 👍🏻🏴
Total is about 2500ha farmable👍
Man I love seeing other men doing “unprofessional” things as well!
How many Acres/Hectares in the new Lease Block?
About 400acres👍😁
Hey Matt, further on from your explanation about blocks and farms am I correct that Jackson Brothers own 3 farms and lease a further two. Am I right 👍 or wrong 👎
How many hectares total do you guys farm?
Hi mate, about 2500hectares😁
@@thejacksonbrothers now that's a fair sized piece of work, looks like you're spread out pretty good.
Matt I am interested in were is your business ? .
Hi William, it’s in northern NSW👍😁
Total acreages?
Currently farming about 2500hectares😁
@The Jackson Brothers currently farm staying 1600 cropping/fat lamb acres on Riverina and supposedly insufficient size for 1 family
@@TheInvoice123 a long way from needing only 100acres to survive😳
