@JasonRobertsVideo Almost all of the points you listed can be controlled with the RC2 controller from DJI. White balance, shutter and ISO can be set manually. The question is, are the values also saved when you fly without the controller?
Exactly my question...I have the Fly More combo arriving in a few minutes but I only got it because of the ability to set manual exposure etc, but whether these changes are saved when I revert to hand-launch mode will determine if it stays or goes!
@@JasonRobertsVideo Apparently the exposure controls are resident on the RC so any changes are not saved on the Neo if you use it in hand-launch mode. This is a problem for me. I tried the drone yesterday in Follow-Me mode on a mountain bike trail and it lost me 5 times in 5 minutes, requiring a dismount and retrieval each time...not what I was hoping. I'll probably return it and either wait for firmware-based tracking improvements, or see if the new Hover Air models work any better with their beacons.
Yeah we really need more control in the app for sure! I'd like to test the new hover air but as a small channel I don't get sent free stuff so I can't afford to buy everything I'd like to review/make tutorials on!!
It can be challenging to use the app on-screen controls because unlike sticks there is no tactile way of knowing if your finders are in the right place as well.
While all these points are valid, it would be fair to mention that most of these can actually be set if you get it with a controller or have one already. It could be DJI's way to make people pay more. Color profiles are mostly for pro users for which this drone is not meant for :-)
Yeah but I think the main point of the Neo is to make it quick and light to use/carry so having to use a controller defeats the point of the drone I think. Let's hope DJI have updates planned! :) :)
It's so odd to me that these controls already exist... if you're using an RC controller. Gives me hope that this will be patched in by the US-launch date.
Wow, its $339 in Australia for the Bundle and you guys are like you mortgaged your house to buy this Drone, Its perfect for what it is, good grief, if you want better go buy a more expensive model, But tell it what it is, its a budget drone that really performs well and truly above its weight
The more expensive models are not as quick/convenient to use as the Neo for some situations - I'm hoping DJI will release some updates after the US release maybe.
No, all these things are possible with a controller, so they are ALL software based. So, they could simply be unlocked by app, if it was allowed by the firmware. This does not need no more expensive hardware, just customer care.

the flight modes not respond on mine...any thoughts
Please, please, please DJI... give us Dlog-m and 24fps for the neo ASAP
Great vid. Totally agree. We need to be able to access everything from our mobile, and be able to save those changes permanently to the Neo…
Exactly! :) :)
I agreed with more options on phones. like video options manuals and fps, and i would like to see in cineD_log
For sure! :) :)

Yeah the whole point of this video is that you shouldn't have to buy an RC controller for this style of drone.

My problem is its difficult to reduce the speed using the phone app its very jumpy speed wise

totaly agree with you!
7th thing DJI mic 2 integration directly with the Neo. Not via Bluetooth to your phone through Fly app to the Neo.
That would be nice but might not be great for Neo battery life!! :) :)
Do you think we’re already headed towards Neo Pro or can these adjusted with firmware updates?
Who knows!!! Hopefully firmware! :) :)
7th thing, add Photosphere!
I’m not buying a Neo till the sharpness and image profile is fixed so can edit it properly
Yeah hopefully an update will be coming sooner rather than later! :) :)

Yes I would like to see all these things added to the app for sure!! :) :)
