Ironic, considering that nationalism only serves to divide humanity further but simultaneously unites people of a region through patriotism. It's a great lesson in perspective, the framework through which we perseive the world.

It's also not just what the USA can do for me but what I can do for the USA. I think she needs as many good people there as possible, particularly right now, to help with all the challenges. COVID and all the domestic terrorists groups, like ANTIFA and BLM are causing a lot of destruction and it poses a threat to the USA. If the USA falls, so does the rest of the western world. The USA is on the front line of a culture war so I'd like to help contribute in any way I can to preserving the traditions and values that not only make the USA great, but are echoed throughout the western world. I would return to Australia and fight for her if Australia and China ever go to war though.

With all of this mounting evidence can you still honestly say that Trump has his priorities in check and that he knows what he's doing when he obviously does not? In regards to the defacing of statues;
Trump is protecting History. Nothing more, nothing less. If you want to extrapolate any further motivation behind it, then go ahead. We can argue whether you're right or wrong.
You need to reformulate most of your sentences to be completely honest, remove the name-calling and non-starters and we might be able to have a discussion.
Also, try not to blatantly lie about the tear gassing. Curfews have been put in place and violence has been called for by some extremists, who happen to be alongside the peaceful protestors (Which is not protected by the 1st amendment.) and innocent people are being stabbed, shot, beaten up, properties are being vandalized etc.
You can keep crying about tear gas, innocent people are dying. This protesting isn't 100% peaceful, I KNOW there are people with only GOOD intentions at these protests but there is scum lurking amongst them too.
Is there something wrong about enforcing law and order? Is dispersing a crowd who are not adhering to their right to peacefully protest or adhering to a curfew a step too close to Fascism to you?
Have you looked at your OWN side of the political spectrum? The left forcibly exile and shun any ideological dissenters, even if they don't stray too far away from their own ideology. For example, just saying not everyone who supports Trump is racist would probably be enough for your family to kick you out of the house or at least not talk to you for a couple of weeks lmao
You guys on the left HAVE to adhere to your own ideology, you convince yourselves you're the good guys while at the same time practicing zero-tolerance towards anyone who has a different view to your own.
What exactly are you trying to achieve with your comment? Do you even care about the scared older citizens or the little children in these areas?
Don't you think it's a good idea to have a civil discussion about these issues rather than hosting protests? What have these protests accomplished? Nothing has changed, why are people trying the same failed method over and over again?

Before I learned the American history, I thought God always blessed America more than other nations unfairly. then I found I was wrong. the United States has experienced disasters, wars, famines and all kinds of challenges no less than any other nations. however, every time when challenge came there were heroes always stood up and led most American people to fight through it, saved the nation and even save the world sometimes. And every time after the great nation survived the new challenge she became even stronger. God only helps those who help themselves! as an immigrant from China I'm honestly proud of the nation's history, and feel the obligation to educate my children with the true history of United States.

Plus he's up against a strongly left-wing biased mainstream media and of course almost half the country are still devastated over us leaving the EU, and there is VERY strong anti-American and anti-Trump feeling in this country. I'm afraid all of our UK politicians seem a bit spineless. I don't think I heard a single political leader or person in authority condemning the BLM demonstrations which involved hundreds of people all willfully breaking lockdown regulations. The police were advised not to try to stop them, presumably for fear of inflaming the situation and making it worse and upsetting the far-leftists who weild a lot of power in this country. No police crackdowns or arrests and they simply stood by and watching as the statue in Bristol was torn down, defaced and thrown into the harbour.
Our leaders in the UK are spineless. Very disappointing.

I was critical of the fact that hundreds of people went out and formed mass gatherings to demonstrate about BLM and in doing so they broke all the quarantine and lockdown rules which were there to protect ALL of our lives by limiting the spread of Covid. Those demonstrators were incredibly selfish because by doing what they did, ignoring the lockdown rules, they put hundreds of other people's lives at risk by spreading the virus. Many of those demonstraters would have been out 'clapping for the NHS' a few days before - to go out and do what they did was like a slap in the face of all the healthcare workers who have put their lives on the line. The selfishness and hypocrisy of those people just beggars belief. Our government was spineless in not ordering the police to disperse the crowds and break up the demos.

This comment section really surprises me, given the way that generally Republican ideals tend to sway towards harsher immigration laws. I'm not sure if the people in this comment section do agree with Trump about restricting immigration, but if that's the case, it sounds like wanting people from developed first world countries and not wanting people from third world countries is a pretty big contradiction. We can't pick and choose. We have to just let people in or not.
