I'm watching this video because I literally just got back from Goodwill where I purchased one of these and it was Factory sealed for $20. I got three kids, a 7 year old boy a 10-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy and I think for $20 Factory sealed this thing is going to be awesome
I was on the fence about this and was about to pull the trigger but this video prompted me to do some more research. Thanks, and great review - and also thanks for explaining the pros and cons of this device honestly. Very helpful!
@@thebfam6191 I didn't end up buying any of this type of device (yet). There was a sale on Amazon for JesLED 32.8 foot LED RGB lights, each with their own remote and power supply, and remote controllable via their app and/or Alexa. Got 5 boxes of these for $15 each Canadian. Couldn't pass it up.
i am thinking about getting one with the amazon prime day. but i saw some bad reviews about privacy violation, that kind turned me down. Does the device works without the bluetooh connection, only with the buttons, did you like the device??
What projector with more features do you recommend? I hear the Sky Lite is the most powerful one compared to other projects. I'm interested in how Sy Lite 2.0 compares to The Galaxy Projector 2.0, I'm torn between the two.
Hello! Thanks for your interest! There are so many projectors on the market but the ones that interest me, or I believe would be worth the investment, are ones that A) use a app to control the entire rgb spectrum. And B) support smart device features such as Google assistant and Alexa! The Galaxy Projector 2.0 by GalaxyLamps was one device I've had my eye on for a long time as it supports these features!
The issue with laser colours that they ain't RGB, a single laser unit is only one colour. So if a unit were to have more than one coloured laser you'd see more than one laser output on the unit, the best projector I've come across would be the Dark Skys DS1 which does a realistic galaxy projection with about 4 million stars and that's just one disc, other discs can be brought for different projections such as projecting an entire planet on your ceiling, however that unit is around 600 USD.
I just got my sky lite 2.0 here on xmas morning and ... the stars actually do not work. Even in the app when I select the stars mode, I get no stars, just a mass of undefined color. Guess I got a broke unit. I do not see stars in any of my modes. All the videos show them, but I don't get them. Bummer. Now I have to drive in the coming days to return this.
So loved discovering your channel. I love your style of review and commentary. Not the Jar Jar Binks comment omg xD! I have the 2.0 now but wondering which you have your eye on as well :3
Thank you for your kind comment! :D GalaxyLamps has a projector that has support for voice commands and app control. it's a little pricey but I think the multicolor wheel makes it worth it!
I have a different brand with a green laser. A couple of them shine on my TV screen. I was worried about it doing damage more than anything. Doesn't seem to be hurting anything and when the TV is on I can't see the green dots.
I want to use this with a smart plug, does the blisslight 2.0 have memory function? Basically if you choose a colour theme/setting and remove the plug and put it back in. Does it remember the colour? And does it instantly light up to it? Thanks
Hello! The blisslights app features a timer that allows you to select what preset lighting effects come on at the designated time! This should eliminate the need for a smart plug! God Speed!
@@QubedSteak I will use a smart plug so i can say "Alexa turn on projector" basically it powers it off and on and would like to know if it keeps same light as before
Hey, thanks for your support! I had my eyes on a device by Galaxy Lamps. The Galaxy Projector 2.0. google it and take a look! It features unlimited nebula color options and voice control with Alexa and google assistant. It is pricey though! Be careful and make sure it truly does project unlimited colors. The pics on their website aren't very telling

Just ordered mine, I got it for $34.99 on Amazon. (it's on sale right now)
Bought a 2.0 on Amazon. Currently they are 50% off.. Thanks for the video! You convinced me. For $35.00 it was a no brainer for me.

Glad a saw this! Super keen to know which one you recommend instead 👍
Just got mine today; thanks for the review! Subscribed and hope to see more reviews with this humor :D

Is there any difference in the apps between the two? I haven't been able to find a demo of the sky light 2.0 app to compare
Also have you seen the encalife atmosphere? The scenes feature seems great.

Great vid! Do the Galaxy 2.0!
My new projector is arriving soon, JMGO N1 Ultra, limited to ceiling only though.

What brand gives you the best coverage ? I have a home arcade and want it to cover the room
I’m asking for this for Christmas:)
Nice, how does it look on a "black" ceiling? Like for a theater room.
Does the led light (in the effect of the stars) interfere to watch TV?
Is the screen not full of green dots?

Amazon. It just came in…. it’s pretty badass but the app isnt the best and I’d also go with green stars over the blue IMO

I want the pac man character lights. Where'd you get them?
A store called FYE. It's like a pop culture store

Why you do jar jar banks like that?
why are the stars on mine neon green? is there any way to change it
