My guess is Hublot will be the next brand to come out with "Swatch" versions of their watch. The problem will be that it will piss off Hublot collectors because no one will be able to tell the difference 😂
Thank you so much for this:👍👌👏. TAGHeuer always reminds me of Oscar Wild's "When I see a spade, I call it a spade" They (TAG) have really taken out all of the fun and class of Heuer watches and want us to pay for it - 🤪!
These watches are terrible and horribly garish - at least the Moonswatch was affordable by comparison, and much more thoughtful in their overall design.
5 months down the line, I'd like to know if the ones who bought these watches expecting to make a quickk and huge profit actually succeeded. Does anyone know?
I love the original Tag Heuer F1 - couldn’t afford one when I was a kid and found good vintage pieces for both my missus and I. Would have loved an original reissue for Tag instead of a silly collaboration that does nothing for the brand or even the design/colour way. Someone in the management chain made pretty bad decisions to agree to go ahead with this.
I had one of the originals, black dial, yellow bezel. Wore it for a while, before trading it straight up for an early 70s Omega with a green dial in a TV screen case, running a 1020 movement. Couldn't beat that deal.
Obviously the third big group after Swatch and LVMH is Richemont. So prepare for some Panerai or JLC design collab with Baume&Mercier in colorful plastic.
The only era of Tag Heuer I enjoy is the transitional period. When they were basically Heuer's with Tag Heuer dials. I never liked the F1 but just grab one on the secondary market for like 300$ and below all day long if you want one
For the one's have no fuc..ing idea what is kith is a tshort brand nothing to do with waches, back in 1986 wach was $80 expensive for the time now a plastic wach with a $25 dollar movement no jewels is the worst business, people get screwed at phone for scamers, this is showing how smart humans are.....😅😅😅😅
When moonswatch came out I didn’t like it, but if you wanna pay $260 to buy fun plastic toy, I say go ahead. But $1500 get you a lot of choices for mechanical watch. Beyond absurd.
Brand collabs are happening everywhere in the watch industry, including with Tudor. It's a quick way for the brands to not only introduce themselves to the mainstream younger demographic outside of the enthusiast community, but also make up cash for the investments that haven't been paying well. When done smartly, it can be a win-win. As long as these keep selling out, brands have no reason not to do em. Even the hideous AP Marvel watches are selling at a premium... so... Oh and btw, I too find these incredibly awful. TAG HEUER x Kith would've been better. But just replacing TAG with Kith is just in poor taste imo
Hublot is a living testament of how crap watches can be sold for 5+ figures, so TAG is actually being modest here. Anyone who buys this crap more than deserves to be parted with their money...
You can’t argue that they somehow overpriced these watches when they promptly sold out at retail. Overpriced new watches are eventually discounted, or they don’t sell. Whatever this tacky collaboration is, it’s not overpriced.
It's called marketing, broadening your customer base and selling your products. That's what businesses do. All you people already hate Tag Heuer anyway, so why do you care? lol
Of course, we will get a SWATCH ROLEX! It will be totally plastic, mimicking a submariner... and of course the quality will be much worse than a 50$ CASIO, but they will ask you for 1999$... sounds reasonable? 😅😂❤
Rolex is the supreme of the watch world, average watch for people who know nothing about watches and just want those five letters. There another five letters SHITE
I have “real” watches and a lot of them. I have a friend who buys the #nkuwan we put them side by side and guess what ?! It’s unbelievable!!! I am at the Rolex boutique with her and no one can tell he has a fake
Adrian Barker loves these watches but i bet, he got some money for saying that 😂
I want to see a plastic dive watch called the Tudor Superdry.
The Yellow, red and green version can probably tell me how to get, how to get to Sesame Street.
My guess is Hublot will be the next brand to come out with "Swatch" versions of their watch. The problem will be that it will piss off Hublot collectors because no one will be able to tell the difference 😂
It doesn't matter, as long as they make them sufficiently expensive the Hublidiots will buy them and think they've got a great deal.
Plastic quartz SKX in wild colour-ways anyone? Didn’t think so
Thank you so much for this:👍👌👏. TAGHeuer always reminds me of Oscar Wild's "When I see a spade, I call it a spade" They (TAG) have really taken out all of the fun and class of Heuer watches and want us to pay for it - 🤪!
In 100 years someone is going to say who the f... was kith Heuer
Tag had been going so well, and then they came out with this ..
Never fall for the hype and the nostalgia-bait. I am just going to stay away from these things.
1. offer different colorway
2. slap hypebeast brand label on it
3.???
4. Profit off of HB brand wh0res
I only agree with you about 42% of the time, but I think you're dead on target with this one.
I would not even pay 25 US dollars for one of those trash watches. I bet they will fall apart in a couple of years.
I actually would because they're $25, but I get your point.
I would if it's $25, just about the same price i bought the "original TAG" version 30 years ago... 😅

Sad 😢, expensive sad too
I don't understand why Christian was gushing over this release over on the Theo & Harris channel. People were mad at me for having this same opinion.
He's a salesman
Christian comes from a marketing background. He probably just appreciates the thought process behind the move.
He also buys jumpers for 850 from kith, so probably thinks its a steal.
Even Andrew Morgan put out a video shitting on this release.
A lot of watch Companys think it is still spring 2022.
Garbage in (brands), garbage out (the watches). And as with all garbage, adding more of it has more of a multiplicative than an additive effect.
NFT watches that in 5 years will be worth squat. Still a step up from from the 100% plastic blancpain/moonswatch runs though

Unless you buy Kith Jumpers for £850, you are not an intended target audience.

Tag and kith taking the pith
Almost makes the MoonSwatch look like a good deal. Almost....
The sad thing is they will sell these faster than they can make them and the profit margin on these is likely higher than any other watch they sell.
They might be crap, but the ain't plastic. They all have steel cases. I still have my original from 95, all my swatches are long gone.
I think the wacky colorway is a reference to Ayrton Senna
Making money from a dead racing driver; even more not cool than this cash grab was to start with.
When moonswatch came out I didn’t like it, but if you wanna pay $260 to buy fun plastic toy, I say go ahead. But $1500 get you a lot of choices for mechanical watch. Beyond absurd.
Well, Patek just came out with a quartz Aquanaut, so...
The Supreme Brick, who can forget.
I will NOT miss Bremont when they're gone.
And this coming off of 2023’s Glass Box…………..I adore Heuer……………I HATE TAG……………..good show today Jory. Thanks

Smashed it Jory.
What a hunk of junk, why would you? I used to be a TH fan back in the day, not anymore. Just can’t get onboard with the brand.
So youre not buying the kith m4?
You bought one right Jory…? Haha😅
1500 EUR for a plastic watch with a quartz movement.
Doesn’t TAG know what Amazing watches can be bought for 1500 EUR ?
Hublot is a living testament of how crap watches can be sold for 5+ figures, so TAG is actually being modest here. Anyone who buys this crap more than deserves to be parted with their money...

Tudor is probably going to be next
I’d like to see H Moser heap shame on these hypebeast collabs.
I thought it was a Luminox
Plastic watch for 1.5 - 2k
What ? F them and swatch
Worst watchmaker ever? Thanks for reminding me why I unsubscribed.
I agree with you trash, but the design is based on F1 , that’s why the colors make sense
Still better than a Moon Swatch 😂
lol these are a joke
Will Tudor be doing a collaboration with a hype brand? 🤔
i seriously doubt it. would be shocked if they did.
You mean with their daddy Rolex ?
These nasty watches are overpriced, they are worth a couple of hundred English pounds at best.
It's called marketing, broadening your customer base and selling your products. That's what businesses do. All you people already hate Tag Heuer anyway, so why do you care? lol
They’re hideous
Of course, we will get a SWATCH ROLEX!

Swiss are going to shit very fast, year after year. Better go to vintage.
I don’t miss a day a week #nkuwan This show...
