Me and my daughter were directly behind the couple that they pushed and who decided to go stand somewhere else. Secury didn't seem to be able to tackle him, to be fair he was pretty big. Agree it took them too long, they only left as they agreed that it was getting close the end of the gig. It was our first Editors gig without my partner as he wouldn't have let it go on that long! He has a way with settling people with words though, so far never had to use fists (despite being 3rd Dan black kb fighter he would not unless really needed to!) Didn't let it spoil the experience though, seen Editors 6 times now, 7 come Thursday (can't wait!) & that Birmingham gig was the best I've seen. (Not just Editors but all bands). My daughter too, for her (her 3rd Editirs gig) they were better than MCR & Twenty One Pilots (both absolutely fantastic though, esp 21) but Editors, honestly, you can't beat them. I'd watch them every night. Didn't want Birmingham gig to end. Feet were killing after support band, forgot all about it when Editors came on! Fantastic show. Love 'em! ❤
We were in the middle of it, and honestly, security should have protected us. I felt not safe for 2-3 songs. And these guys kept on molesting two guys front row heavily - verbally and being physically too tight. Security was there, obviously saw it but did nothing. I am a woman, and they did not touch me, but I felt so sorry for one of the guys they targeted - he was so happy before and then got caught in this 😔
