This is AAA character customization offered to us, props to the creator and the team behind this 👍 In my eyes i always imagined metahumans customization like this ... For game optimized version of metahuman they should attach head to body! And make it plug an play with Mutable plugin and offer normal clothes also

I will be adding this to SmartPoly's Multiplayer Survival Game Course that I am working through! I made my own character customizer/selector for the first version of the course, which works really well, but this plugin looks far better!
I am curious, what is the underlying method for Mutable mesh's attachment? leader pose? copy pose? mesh merge? (from the video footage unlikely) So far, I haven't seen these Mutable character turn on physic simulation - if they simply adopt the leader pose method, all these attachments will have serious mesh penetration during simulation which makes them unusable for physic-based games.
@SmartPoly this is perfect for a tps game such as your survival course that a lot of us has purchased. But what about fps??? Games like cod/Warzone and BF where you select a skin then the character has different outfit, different hair style etc compare to the default skin? Is it one skeletal mesh?. Can this plugin work that way??? If so for your fps course.... Is it possible? In fps you dont really have such features like this plugin. Thank you.
It works for whatever you want it to. It can work on Metahumans, Vroids, wolves, dragons, unicorns, walls, tin cans, Toyota vehicles, Sr-71 Blackbirds, hats, Cheetos bags, etc.

How to use these characters in Sequencer

Is Mutable a Gameplay only feature?
I mean does your edit get saved after to click Stop on UE?
I think it saves the customization after you exit the play in editor mode.

yes, because you can setup clipping volumes to remove parts of the body under the clothes
