The story of Cinderella is actually a rather ancient folk tale, and the earliest known is millennia-old, and its setting is actually the Ancient Egypt. There's a Chinese version too. But if you wanna talk gory versions of the tale, there's one that precedes Perrault's version, in which Cinderella herself BEHEADS her first stepmother, so her father can marry her second one, who turns out to be even worse.

Which pushed over the edge, causing her to unleash abilities she did not really know much about. In this film, it seems like she was mocked and randomly spat on and then took revenge. Maybe I'm wrong and there is more to it. It seems like they deserve the punishment anyways. Carrietta White was pushed to the limit of dealing with stuff for her entire life. The Winnie the Pooh thing was a weird thing to make into a slasher. I understood if it was horror in the sense of lovecraft where he is brought into another realm. But Winnie murdering folks? Not sure about that.

Even though this could be a fun movie, despite it being a Carrie ripoff, it looks worse and more cheaper than Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey (and I'm one of the few people who didn't hate Blood and Honey that much like so many others!)
