Great video Phil you captured Stanhope well. It's an amazing place, Ashes quarry is beautiful especially when you get to the top of the moor. Its nice by the station, we enjoyed a train driving experience there last year that was fun. I'm guessing you had a caravan at Heatherview. We have a caravan further up the Dale in Westgate, by the way the scones from that bakers are delicious, especially the cheese ones. Enjoy your wanders buddy, our paths may cross some time 👍👍
yes mate, loved heatherview. it’s where my love of the outdoors all started. amazing places around there to check out and relive. I hope we do bump into each other, for a cuppa and a natter one day 😉👍
My childhood playground growing up at the caravan. spent many a time through the fields and in the river. that’s where my passion for the outdoors all started. cheers for watching and the sub 😉👍
Great video! Very dramatic quarry, and I think it's safe to say the sheep had a good view. Funny you should mentioned the Polar Express experience for the kids - I took my 9 year old daughter Isabelle to the Wensleydale Polar Express experience (in Leeming): I expect it's the same: a very *noisy* experience!
came here from another video from your comment! great video. love the fact that you do not add any music sound. pure raw sound is all we want. I was up at on mam tor in ice yesterday.
Thanks for this one! This holds a special place in my heart…
