I don’t feel bad for Anthony at all, he had this coming. This is what bullying does to someone, it takes the niceness out of them, and makes them a nightmare, take Hawk for a perfect example.
What makes this scene truly horrifying, is that you KNOW that bullying is wrong, you KNOW that Kenny shouldn't be beating up Anthony, but despite those morals, it's nearly impossible to feel sorry for Anthony because he brought that beat down on himself, all he had to do was listen to his father's lessons and not be a bully
Also, look at the body language that Anthony is displaying. He's not looking at Kenny, he's looking at the ground. Then he's looking away and off to the sides. He barely makes any eye contact throughout his entire "apology". He's not showing Kenny any remorse other than a half baked apology. And when Kenny didn't accept it, Anthony almost looks shocked. You can tell that Anthony comes from a position of privilege. He's used to being "forgiven" with weak apologies like this. Makes you care even less that he got beat down in this scene.

I was the new kid in seventh grade. There was a kid who would always yell at me, insult me or find creative ways to publicly humiliate me. When Kenny said “you were just trying to impress your friends by picking on the new kid who didn’t have any.” I felt that. I just wish I could’ve done to that kid what Kenny did to Anthony.
That actor that plays Kenny is phenomenal!! Sooo very young, yet extremely gifted and a very natural actor. I hope he gets more great acting gigs in the future. I'd be a shame to see his talent be wasted & him only being known for playing Kenny on Cobra Kai. It'd be like Jaleel White and Urkel or Jason David Frank and Tommy from the Power Rangers (which is really sad and is pretty much Daniel LaRusso in real life - cashing in on past glory).
Unfortunately a lot of things are out of control in the acting business. I'm sure Ralph tried everything he could do get roles outside of the Karate Kid world. He's a talented actor. It must have taken a lot of reflecting for him to get to the point of accepting a reprise of Daniel LaRusso.

Kyler is a complete piece of shit, almost cartoonish. Anthony actually apologised and changed. He was like Season 1 Robby, decent guy deep down but had awful “friends” who pressured him into being like them.

Anthony was a complete twat but at least he tried apologising which is more than what Tory ever did for Sam. I also do like that Robby feels for Anthony here. The Larussos took him in and Daniel is like a father to him, so by extension Anthony is like a little brother to Robby.
