Effectivement. Écoutez la version donnée par Arsys Bourgogne avec de moindres moyens orchestraux, notamment : c'est nettement meilleur. Ici, c'est nettement jazzy !!!
Le temps choisi est inapproprié. By far much too fast. L ensemble a confondu un psaume de louange et une charge de cavalerie, de la brigade légère... Ce n'est pas, à mon sens, l intention du compositeur à l époque ni ce qui rend le mieux l idée d une louange à la majesté infinie de Dieu pour le public actuel. Sans être mélancolique il faut être puissant et lent. La qualité de l exécution musicale et vocale ne compense pas à mon sens ce mauvais choix. Je respecte néanmoins l opinion divergente des commentaires qui apprécient d écouter ce que j appellerai une interprétation TGV...
