Oh my word the video you sent your friend! 🤣 but for real though...thanks for sharing your experience with wisdom teeth...thankful I have not had to have mine out (yet!)!
Glad you had a great recovery. It's truly hard not to eat certain foods after dental procedure... For me it's trying to avoid hot and crunchy food after a cleaning with Flouride treatment 😆
Had all 4 of mine out last week, my experience was nothing like this lol. Since the 1st day, I feel totally normal. No pain, swelling, problems sleeping. I just felt normal. You only have to be careful eating and be careful what you eat
have u been able to eat normally? also did the gums cover the blood clot yet? i read somewhere that at 1-2 weeks it’s suppose to smooth over the blood clot
@@mmack9102 no not normally, I am still avoiding harder foods and foods that are kinda messy. This is because my gums have not fully covered the area where they took the teeth out yet. I still try to be careful because I don’t want food to get stuck in those holes. I clean them every time I eat. It’s really annoying. I just want to eat normally again😂. But that’s the only problem. I have no pain or other problems
Bryan Castaneda has the gums started to cover the holes? like ik you said it hasn’t all the way but has it started too? do you think it’d be okay for me to have fries?
@@mmack9102 I can’t really tell yet. The angle I see them at is weird. One hole is bigger than the other but idk. If u have fries, be careful not to chew over the holes and put pressure on them. Then afterwards u can clean the holes. If u clean the holes, u gotta be really careful to to damage it
Oh no! I kinda forced myself to eat solids around day 4 😂 imma massive foodie so it felt like torture! You should be able to eat solids around day 5/6!
@@shimmybae2708 tbh it was a while for me. I’d say over a month. You definitely wanna try to not skip that part cus mine got a slight infection when i thought i was safe
My doctor said two weeks! So I guess it’s baby food and soup until then, I don’t mind because I refuse to get dry sockets. He also told me not to work out, drink or smoke until after my check up 14 days after. I’m on my 3rd day..
I haven't removed mine yet and I know it's waaay past time to do it. I'm delaying it bc I hate surgeries lol. I think you dealt with it really well actually haha The only thing I'm looking forward to is ice cream 😂
I bought 20 tubs of icecream and I nearly finished my stash! (3 left because i couldn't eat it, it had choc chips in it so it was tough to eat!) I delayed it too much to the point where it became an emergency since it was on my nerve, hopefully you can do it soon!!🤍🤍🤍
I used a lot of pain killers as my teeth were impacted, honestly I just slept a lot to get through it 🤣 I think day 4 I started to feel better! I was 21!! I should’ve got them out earlier, first signs of it hurting was when I was 18/19, don’t leave them in too long or else it’ll get worse and get impacted, I’ll always regret leaving them in for too long 🤣🤣
@@NanetteUnfiltered I'm so scared! I have two bottom horizontal ones, they haven't caused pain yet and I'm already almost 25... I didn't know I had them until recently and now suddenly I'm supposed of do this surgery? My top ones are completely hidden still. I don't know how I'll manage the pain during recovery?!
@@TheLemonLily wow! You’re lucky it hasn’t caused you too much pain☺️ don’t worry, if you can’t feel pain it’ll likely mean it won’t hurt a lot after. Since mine were very impacted, it hurt a lot. Having surgery is quite common for wisdom teeth, like in the video, they literally admitted me the next day 🤣😅 everyone’s experiences are completely different but I wish you all the best!! You’ve got this! 🙌🏽
@@NanetteUnfiltered I don't think it makes a difference if I had pain prior! Since mine are all under the gums it means they removal will be extremely invasive, the same way they took out yours. My mind is in a dark place, worried that the painkillers won't be enough to keep it bearable. I've heard so many people say the painkillers don't help...
I just got all 4 wisdom teeth out yesterday my right side top & bottom were fully grown in and my left side top & bottom were not where to be found only the side hurts and my left side jaw is black n blue I think the left side hurts because they had to dig those 2 out my right side doesn’t hurt at all!!!
omg!! Have lots of ice cream and soup hehehe must suck to have one side better than the other... hopefully you can use the right side to eat...ice packs 100% help with your jaw on the left side! Good luck for the rest of your recovery x
Glad I didn't recieve a pamphlet before my wisdom teeth removal! 😄😄 Is the process differnt in Australia? Hope you are feeling better now, your face seems swollen!! Hugs! ❤
oh my, whats the process where you live? I'm still at the end of the recovery as the site that got operated on is still healing, but other than that I'm ok! I went under, so I had no idea what happened but you can also do it with general anaesthetic but as mine was on the nerve, it would've been to difficult
Thanks so much for posting this, girl! Very informative. I'm actually getting surgery soon, too. I am wondering if you could explain more about what it was like to get put to sleep? This is the part that freaks me out!! Like, what does it feel like? How do they do it? What does it feel like when they put the stuff in, like do you get sleepy or is more like wide awake to instantly out? Could you have stayed awake if you would have tried or is it impossible? Haha. Basically whatever you remember about that part would be helpful. Thanks so much!
Got mine out over a day ago. Bottom left is killing but that one was a pain to get out. Was really worried about being put under but it wasn’t all that bad! It was pretty quick and I woke up feeling a little loopy. Went home and took a nap, still was a little loopy when I woke up in terrible pain. Called my friend crying, not because of the pain, but because I missed them. 😂 but definitely ready to have a functional mouth
to anyone out there getting theirs removed, i recommend doing it at a dental hospital because they are way more experienced and chances are you will experience less pain. I got mine out yesterday and i feel no pain, just some swelling that got me looking like chipmunk.
same here! i got mine out yesterday as well and honestly i’m doing really well (knocking on wood) but i think it helps create for a faster healing process as well
