As a teacher: yes yes yes!!! Taking Grace to the library: YES Reading aloud: YES Each enjoying your own book next to each other: YES You are doing it so so right, setting such a wonderful example and it makes me very happy!
A small tip (well big for me) that I learned when I gave birth is that low iron affects milk supply so make sure you keep taking supplement even after you deliver (I'm not giving health advice just a tip) ❤
I never knew that I had low iron during pregnancy & after during pregnancy took my iron religiously during pregnancy after birth I completely forgot 14 months into breastfeeding I have a surplus
I took my prenatal after and still do when I can remember. My baby is 5 months old. I am blessed and have lots of milk. But my nails and post partum hairloss isn't as bad lol
That was exactly my experience with the hospital also. We have our girls 17 months apart. One in the middle of the pandemic (had to wear mask, no guest and only 1 partner) with our other daughter, I was able to have my grandma and guest come after. It meant so much to us to be able to show Sissy her lil sissy.
With my second baby wearing became a huge part of our lives. I highly recommend having a few wraps/carriers on hand so that you can have baby close and still keep up your normal activities with Grace/ cook/clean etc. Such a life saver.
I love getting to see little moments of your days with Grace, we get to see a lot of you in your element in creator mode that sometimes I forget just how wonderful you are in mom mode. Both of your daughters are so lucky to have such loving parents in you and Stephen.
So happy you found a reason for your tiredness and you have something to help it! You look fabulous! I may need to invest in the Kindle holder and page turner!
I had a very bad night so I’m already emotional lol, but when Stephan said he wanted to make sure you got a bath to relax I teared up. I wish someone loved me like that 😭💕 you guys seem to have such a great partnership, I love watching it.
I read Every Summer After last year and I really enjoyed it too! Love that you’re in your reader era! I finally ended a multi year reading slump in Fall 2022. It’s so nice to read again
Have you been taking pictures of your bump growing this pregnancy like you did with Grace? Would be fun to see your bump comparison between pregnancies.
8:20 I used to have moments like this with my kiddos and I thought I was loosing my mind. Then one day I was in the room when it happened. Turns out its actually normal for kiddos to cry out in their sleep ocasionally. Its heartbreaking to think they could be that distressed in their dreams, but it does happen.
I have the same set up for reading. The remote and stand is a life changer! Since September I have been reading nonstop. It’s mostly Harry Potter fan fiction but I don’t care, I’m loving it.
To anyone giving birth, any kind of birth plan, I HIGHLY recommend a doula! Statistics show there are better outcomes to those w a doula. Just remember like anything, not all doulas are created equal and you have to find the right one for you. also start EARLY. their schedules fill up quickly.
Happy third trimester!! Random question, but did Stephen end up continuing with Orange Theory classes? I'm curious what his thoughts on it are. It was mentioned in a vlog a while back
Got a Kindle in Dec. 2022, and I've read so much more. I use my best friend's Kindle Unlimited and keep my own books on the kindle. I managed 130 books last year. Insanity.
Get the blue rechargeable spectra pump it's hospital grade so it will get all the milk out and help build up your supply. Some pumps dont take out all the milk and it will tank your supply and put you at risk for mastitis.
I had the motif Luna that was rechargeable and it was really nice! I was influenced by you to try the Luna and the battery option was great for pumping at work.
From a viewer’s perspective this pregnancy has flownnn by compared to your pregnancy with grace!! Can’t believe you’re already in the third trimester, sending love🫶🫶
Only 15 weeks pregnant with my second but it will also be a RCS. I was soooo drained with my first by the time he was even born via urgent cesarean that it just set us up to have a rough week the first week. Looking forward to just going in this time and having the baby instead of wearing myself out for days first.
I also got the spectra gold (instead of the spectra s2) this time and the pump is AMAZING. I can pump for 15 minutes and it gets all the milk out. 10/10
Hi Sierra I had a planned c-section and them my water broke the week before so it would be to get a back up plan in place and you know baby dictates the plan keep that in mind🤰🤗 congratulations by the way,
Congratulations on 28 weeks!!Time flies. I really like your pregnancy sharing. Your video is very useful. Your video helped me a lot. Thank you for your sharing. Wishing you good health and smooth childbirth. I'm here to accept your good luck.😇😇
I just put the belly band on 12 weeks 😂 having the worst back pain but it’s my 3rd so idk if that’s par for the course. I don’t even really have much of a belly yet either, makes no sense.
Sierra, I read The Nightingale and it was SO good. I'm here for all the historical fiction recommendations and would love to follow you on Goodreads if you use it :)
With my second I didn’t pack the hospital bag until 38w, even then it was just the baby stuff. I was throwing together the bag before we went to the hospital bc I went into labor at 38w 5d🤪
So exciting to hear about how your pregnancy is going! I'll have to tell my sister in law about the breast pump website, she is pregnant with her first.
A little PSA about Aeroflow: it is very convenient, but do call your insurance ahead of time and ask specifically what they will cover in terms of a pump and supplies! Sometimes Aeroflow makes errors with communicating what things should be covered, and you may end up paying when you don’t need to! For example, my insurance said they would cover $400 in network and $250 out of network, but Aeroflow told me a $200 pump would cost me like $100 out of pocket- so sometimes it is worth it to just purchase and submit a claim for reimbursement! If you want an expensive pump, knowledge is power here
you should eat some ginger root or ginger chews when you feel sick, ask your doctor fist because ive never been pregnant i know that ginger is a natural way to help with feeling sick
BOOK RECOMMENDATION “The Midnight Library” by Matt Haig It’s my favorite book ever. It’s about if you could change on little choice from your past, how would your life be different? Y’all have talked about this a lot on the podcast and I’ve always wanted to recommend but I forget haha
I packed my hospital bag pretty early. I want to say like 28 weeks? I had no reason to think he’d be early or anything, I just wanted to be prepared. Good thing, he was 6 weeks early.
Random question: Where did you get your couch? It looks so comfortable! We’ve spent so much money on uncomfortable sofas! Thanks in advance! I am open if anyone else has any recommendations as well! Thx!
I hope you see this. Seriously, what iron supplement are you trying? These can be so constipating and yucky on the tummy in general. If yours works let us anemics know, Please!😊
What made you feel ready to have a second baby? I remember you shared you didn’t love the newborn stage and it was the same for me. I really struggled through newborn phase. I think I want a second but I’m still feeling very nervous about going through newborn stage again. It was so so so hard.
I had a hard time with the new born stage too. What I realized for me that the hardest part was thinking that my life wouldn’t completely change with a baby but it obviously does. I’m currently 28 weeks with my second now and before we started trying for #2 I started therapy. Talking through the emotions and scaries has helped so much
If you haven't read Outlander... I don't know what you're doing. Read it NOW. Also along with Historical Fiction, absolutely LOVED Lessons in Chemistry.
I've got some historical fic book recs for you! I was on a real historical fiction kick last year. These were all 5 star reads for me: The Paris Agent (Kelly Rimmer), A Shadow in Moscow (Katherine Reay), The Alice Network (Kate Quinn), the Jaipur Trilogy (Alka Joshi), and Independence (Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni)
Fun fact it’s actually pronounced Jodi pico like pico de gallo. I learned from her tiktoks and it absolutely blew my mind after her name (incorrectly pronounced) has been said in our house a million times since I was little lol
Sierra, omg I didn't know you liked historical fiction. Please try Jean Plaidy's "The Lady in the Tower" about Anne Boleyn, (2nd wife of Henry VIII). She was a super intelligent woman, way ahead of her time. All of her books are fantastic!! 💜💜
As a teacher: yes yes yes!!! Taking Grace to the library: YES
Reading aloud: YES
Each enjoying your own book next to each other: YES
You are doing it so so right, setting such a wonderful example and it makes me very happy!
Seconded as an ECE
Makes my librarian's heart happy to see y'all at the library.
I love when Steven picks up the vlog it’s honestly really adorable and makes me admire the family dynamic a lot ❤

"and the last page... sisters. The end." Grace is too stinkin' cute.
i love how talkative grace is! sooo cute🫶🏻
That was exactly my experience with the hospital also. We have our girls 17 months apart. My toddler always sings "Woof woof" in your intro when the doggies bark lol
With my second baby wearing became a huge part of our lives. I highly recommend having a few wraps/carriers on hand so that you can have baby close and still keep up your normal activities with Grace/ cook/clean etc. Such a life saver.
Agree. 22 months between mine & the wraps / carrier have been essential for us. Also keeps baby calm which keeps toddler calm.
The first 2 minutes brought such joy to my heart. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed watching your family grow
Stephen is adorable.
Kindle case is awesome ❤
Good luck with 3rd trimester!!!
Steven's little pick up up the vlog camera was so sweet❤
I love getting to see little moments of your days with Grace, we get to see a lot of you in your element in creator mode that sometimes I forget just how wonderful you are in mom mode. Both of your daughters are so lucky to have such loving parents in you and Stephen.
We need more Stephen! I love when he vlogs!
So happy you found a reason for your tiredness and you have something to help it! You look fabulous! I may need to invest in the Kindle holder and page turner!
Sierra is in her booktube era 😍
I had a very bad night so I’m already emotional lol, but when Stephan said he wanted to make sure you got a bath to relax I teared up. I wish someone loved me like that 😭💕 you guys seem to have such a great partnership, I love watching it.

when Grace was like "last page... SISTERS. THE END" 😂❤
Your small snippets with you and Grace make me so excited to be a mom one day
always a good day when there is a Sierra video to watch over my lunch
The little wrinkles in Graces tights at the ankle just melted my heart ❤
To anyone giving birth, any kind of birth plan, I HIGHLY recommend a doula! Statistics show there are better outcomes to those w a doula. Just remember like anything, not all doulas are created equal and you have to find the right one for you. also start EARLY. their schedules fill up quickly.
Literally the reason I think my birth went to smoothly! Having her again for my second!
Happy third trimester!! Random question, but did Stephen end up continuing with Orange Theory classes? I'm curious what his thoughts on it are. It was mentioned in a vlog a while back
Somehow I haven't seen you on my feed forever!! Congratulations on the second! OMG! She was a baby last time I saw a video. So grown!
Got a Kindle in Dec. 2022, and I've read so much more. I use my best friend's Kindle Unlimited and keep my own books on the kindle. I managed 130 books last year. Insanity.
Was that a grilled cheese and honey sandwich? We need to know more!!
I love Jodi Picoult! I read like 5 of her books recently lol. 14:50

My 2.5 finally watched Tangled a few days ago and she calls Mother Gothel “sad Mama” 😆. It made me think of “Sad Baby Him” haha
Motherhood looks so great on you 💜 thanks for being a great example
I'm surprised you can sit with the belt band. My baby does not like it unless I'm walking. We packed our hospital bags this weekend! 36+5
At Target they have a story book that has all the Disney movies in written form. I’m sure Grace would love that ❤
Sing You Home by Jody Piccolut (I know I mispelled that sorry) was one of my favorite ever book I read in school. I highly recommend it!
Only 15 weeks pregnant with my second but it will also be a RCS. I think we are literally a day or two apart and it's been so fun following along 😍 our little beans will be here before we know it and I can't wait 🎉🥰
Could you please add the link to the kindle scroller and mount? :)
A great fun read (that is a great palette cleanser as well) is any of the stand alone any Sophie Kinsella 10/10!
LOVE her books!!! ETA: Elin Hildebrand is another author who's books I love and can breeze through!
i hope you’re doing well 🩵
Love hearing how you are doing!! Grace is so cute. Yay for third trimester! I'm still open to give name suggestions if you want any! ❤
THE KINDLE REMOTE IS THE BEST THING EVER I LOVE MINE SO MUCH. Sorry for yelling, I’m so passionate about it lol
Hi Sierra
I had a planned c-section and them my water broke the week before so it would be to get a back up plan in place and you know baby dictates the plan keep that in mind🤰🤗 congratulations by the way,
That is the cutest kindle cover ever! 🌼
The kindle app on my phone is the BEST

I LOVED every summer after just like you said it’s such an easy going, feel good book 🥰
Getting so close! Have you guys purchased anything new for the baby or have all of Grace's previous items to use? Congratulations mama!
If Grace likes Frozen books I'd recommend Hooray for Differences :) read it with my students and them seemed to enjoy it
would love a link to the brown/camel colored mock neck sweater
As an author, it makes me so happy that you are sharing the love of books with Grace❣️ "I don't know about that.". 😂
I am so proud of my ability to bark at the same time as the dogs barks in the intro 😂
you should eat some ginger root or ginger chews when you feel sick, ask your doctor fist because ive never been pregnant i know that ginger is a natural way to help with feeling sick
Hi, love your channel. ❤ What kind of kindle did u get?

i'm two weeks behind you (with my first), sympathizing so hard
I hope you see this. Seriously, what iron supplement are you trying? These can be so constipating and yucky on the tummy in general. If yours works let us anemics know, Please!😊
