My dealer just popped the remote open with the emergency key instead of a flat head screwdriver.

yeah you definitely can do that - a flat head screwdriver is a bit easier to get the battery out the holder if needed though

Doh the whole green thing and the silver piece and spring all fell out. Can't get the silver piece and spring back in

Sometimes you just gotta use a lot of strength yall, it's plastic so it seems weak but its surprisingly strong. Don't go full hulk mode too tho at the same time😂
