1. Cancel TSS and counterspike
2. Just stall and hope they don't know how to stack (works way more often than it should lmao)

to be fair, this is exactly how you counter stickspin.
albeit if your opponent knows that you're stalling they'll prepare a bigger spike, but at the mean time you can stack with your I piece held to counter the spike as well.

if you counterspike then you can get away with much slower. 2+ pps is only necessary if you're going for pc
that said, if you rely on that counterspike to win and can't freestyle b2b afterward then you get stuck like this
