Yeah Hyunjin only took part in the first episode, the intro stage when SKZ did their Miroh dragon performance. Hyunjin was in that performance on Kingdom. But then he left directly afterward.
Didn't he do one of the Wolfgang too or was that not part of kingdom
@@staaa7711 No, Hyunjin only took part in Miroh, the Introduction Stage in Kingdom. Later on after Kingdom was over, SKZ performed alternate versions of some of the songs they'd sung in Kingdom and Hyunjin was part of those. Wolfgang with Hyunjin was the alternate version of the Wolfgang they did on Kingdom. The Wolfgang they did in Kingdom was where Chan took his entire shirt off and was half-naked. The Wolfgang they did as an alternate version with Hyunjin later Chan didn't strip at all. Ah hem, that's how I tell the difference... Chan being half-naked vs Chan being clothed lmao!

For context, 'I'll be your man' is originally sung by BTOB as a love song from a man to a woman. During this episode each group had to cover another groups song. 3racha switched the song up and made it more towards protecting and loving another person. SKZ actually chose this song to show they wanted the challenge and to prove they weren't just a bunch of rappers. The stone boy is (rumored) to symbolize Hyunjin, as this was during his hiatus and the ring around his neck is HJ's ring.

This performance was about sacrificing their life’s to save that boy statue which resembles hyunjin, the statue being hyunjin is just a theory but it’s a logical one, before this was getting filmed boys made 8 necklaces, they all wore it in this performance but hyunjin’s necklace was on that statue btw hyunjin was on hiatus during filming kingdom.

hyunjin was on hiatus the entire kingdom. the victory song was before kingdom that was the mama awards(last year). and this "kingdom" was a competition between 6 groups. in the end stray kids managed to win 1st among the six groups.

Originally a love song, Stray Kids turned into “sacrifice life for loved ones” = protect Hyunjin. BangChan was almost in tears singing the song to the boy statue with the ring. It was definitely the most emotional performance by Stray Kids.
There are all the Fan Cams for each members as well as the Full Cam version to see the whole 4 minutes performance how the stage was structured, and members running around when camera is focused on somebody else. It’s very interesting.

all of the kingdom performances were within these past 4? months. they’re all from the competition show (kingdom obviously 💀) where 6 different male kpop groups battled with about 5 performances and stray kids won. hyunjin isn’t in any of them except the intro stage, Miroh, which was filmed right before his hiatus.

8:40 Felix landing on beat after jumping off the ledge... that is my FAVORITE part. Jumping in from a height distance takes timing and could soooo easily be off .... but it was PERFECT! The jump was perfect and the sequence following fire. I always rewatch that part several times before continuing with the video.

im not sure if youre aware, but kingdom is a competition show that skz was on with other idol groups. This performance was for a round where two groups would switch songs (or essentially cover each other's songs) and stray kids picked to switch with BTOB, so I'll be your Man is originally a BTOB song, and this group is really known for their vocals. Also BTOB covered Back Door, if youre interested in checking that out!

It was supposed to make you cry. This song is a ballad, and they made it into a story of a young boy dying and they’re doing everything they can including giving their heart so the child comes back, and they give up their lives for him.😭😭😭😭

I've seen this performance so many times. I still get goosebumps and still want to cry. It's about sacrificing your life for a loved one. At the beginning, they're praying. In the end, they make a deal with the devil to trade places. So the child is alive at the end, but they die in his place.

When it was airing, a lot of people said this performance was weird and not good. But for me, strangely enough, this performance was so shocking, it gave me chills. Among all those performances, this one stood out the most in my memory.

the song story how they told it was they lost the small boy and they would give anything to bring him back. They break into Heaven to get him back but instead they were considered criminals. They break out and decide if heaven wont help the abyss will, so they sacrifice their own life give their own heart to bring him back so they all die, but in the end the boy is back.

During this program called "Kingdom" Hyunjin only performs Miroh, the rest of the performance include this one he was in hiatus so that's why he didn´t appear in some videos.

You were about to cry at the end because they all secrificed their lives to make the stone boy alive. The dead stone boy symbolize Hyunjin who couldn't be there with them, they couldn't even mention his name, so he was like dead to them. They made 8 rings for each one of them and the 8th Hyunjin's ring gave to the stone boy. They tried to seek help in heaven but they didn't help them so they made a deal with the devil but the price was their own lives. And the stone boy was back to life at the end thanks to their sacrifice.

"KINGDOM: LEGENDARY WAR" is a korean reality show. 6 groups competed for 3 rounds where each was worth points, in the end, the group with the most points won. these points were divided into categories, judges, group self evalution, online voting and youtube views. and so they made a ranking in each round. first they did an intro performance and then the rounds started. in the first round (TO THE WORLD) they made a presentation to the world (stray kids sang a gods menu mashup with side effects), in round 2 (RE-BORN) they had to switch songs among themselves (stray kids sang i 'll be your man from btob and btob sang back door from skz). round 3 (NO LIMIT) was divided into two parts, in the first part, 2 teams would be formed with 3 groups each, stray kids, ateez and btob (mayfly) X ikon, the boyz, sf9 (IT's ONE) and competed in 3 battles : RAP, DANCE AND VOCAL. the winning team of each round would earn an amount of points that would be divided by the 3 groups that made 1 team. and in the second part of round 3 the groups could perform without limits, using whatever music or anything they like (stray kids presented the gods menu mashup with du ddu du ddu). and there was the final where each group released a song for the program and had to perform it live in the final while the audience voted (stray kids released WOLFGANG). in the end, stray kids won the program, taking first place with the most points.
the show's performances are amazing, especially round 3, you should get the rap, dance and vocal battles, it's worth it.
oh, and kingdom happened while hyunjin was on hiatus so he only performed with the group in the intro performance.
if you want to watch there are several places that posted the episodes with subtitles, it's really cool to see how stray kids prepared and how they evolved to the final.
