- The Second weekend of July, Port Huron Michigan hosts the annual Port Huron to Mackinac Sail Boat Race. It is the World’s Longest Continuously Run Long Distance Freshwater Yacht Race. The locals celebrate the race with a week long event known affectionately as Boat Week.
Port Huron is our home town and the Summer of 2023 was when we made our final preparations for our full-time RV living. The last six weeks we were in Port Huron, we stayed at the Dancing Fire Glamping RV resort just outside the city limits of Port Huron. Thanks Shanna! We finally have enough content to put a quality intro together. Yoopers would be in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. :) Port Huron is in the Lower, so we are called "Trolls" because we are under the Mackinaw Bridge. LOL. :) -Michelle
