This will be the aircraft I will save money for!
Such a beauty
Underpowered, death trap.
Where can I buy one?
Jsem moc rád že v tom taťka léta
Its really funny to hear a motorcycle sound coming out of a plane lol but at the same times its pretty cool
How much static thrust is generated by the ducted fan? 1500N? 3000N? Any chance of putting a small turboshaft (like a turboprop) or a true tubojet engine? Very interested in the development and availablity in US.
What's availbility?
By the way the new fuselage for ALBI-II seen in ruclips.net/video/SMOuTRop5H0/видео.html looks much slimmer and nicer around the intake ducts
Not very fast it seems and pretty loud. But I like it.
Yeah, i better keep that motor on the bike.
That plane use the motor from a bmw1000rr.
And cost 200000$
That engine is working hard. They should try using the PBS TJ-100 turbojet that is used on the Subsonex kit built.
That would defeat the purpose. It existed to display jet-style looks WITHOUT jet prices. The TJ-100 engine probably costs more than this entire aircraft, and also burns a lot more fuel, plus the maintenance/inspections costs would also be prohibitive.
The PBS TJ100 turbojet is about $75,000 . . . . a lot less than the $200,000 cost of this aircraft . . . . probably would be quite well suited to the Albi L39.
The PBS TJ100 would, however, be one very thirsty solution, however, the PBS TP100 could be used to power the ducted fan.
This would create a novel turbofan, producing more thrust with greater efficiency than the PBS TJ100.
@@PhilipFly11 That would make a fascinating project. $75k is still considerably more than the motorcycle engine it was designed for, but would still make a great 2/3-sized, 2/3 price, half-performance Albatross.
mantap..
keren...
This is totally awesome! When will it be available in the US?
This is a question for the development team. The aircraft is at the beginning of development. Currently, only one aircraft flies.
@@Letectvinzp I heard that this prototype had an accident that pilot did a parachute landing, Is the program still in development state ?
@@kavehaghayazdi2576 The accident happened in 6/2016, the aircraft was repaired and continued to fly. The last mention of flight activity on the manufacturer's website/facebook is from 2021.
Ware but beautiful, interesting and sheap plane
Very nice. Although you need a new camera man. It would have been nice to see the landing.
The concept is as though the L-39 and the RFB fantrainer had a baby. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RFB_Fantrainer
Looks of the L-39 and heart of a RFB fantrainer. Hopefully fuel capacity can be increased...
Ha ha ha......
when will they finally launch? Can you buy one now?
The aircraft is still under development. Only one aircraft flies.
Yes ...how much price
@@iketut173 ....if you have to ask about $, you can't afford it 🙄
...just like a Super-yacht.
@@Texaca it s cost 200000$
There’s no way the engine used at full RPM can be reliable, BMW makes a fine engine, but that’s a lot of heat and stress one would assume.
Its running at 12k rpm, thats 85% but yeah doesnt sound reliable enough for flight.
Prefiero el VL3. Ese solo tiene una estética de caza, pero las prestaciones me parecen muy normales.
speeds for that swept wing .
I doesn't have a swept wing.
Annoying sound. Put a real turbofan engine on it!
engine from a BMW road motorcycle with a volume of 1000 cm³
I've seen RC planes faster than that one.
