    This is a nice, simple recipe. I've never made split pea soup, but I think I'll try it.

    Use your ham bones , I like mine, split Pea soup with onions, celery, 2 bay leaves, and carrots after cooked. Remove chunks of ham then blend, then I add chopped potatoes, ham chunks Black pepper
