- I spent a day in Riwai village in Meghalaya with my friend’s family to experience the village life of northeast India. After visiting Mawlynnong village and coming back home to Riwai, we decided to get chicken for dinner. In this video, my friend's dad cooks the Khasi-style chicken curry while I show you the village activities with relaxing ASMR sounds! Enjoy the rural experience of living with locals in a village in Meghalaya.

In a village this kitchen with a fire place to cook and dry/smoke meat or anything is very important part of the house. This is the place where the family members would sit around the fire and chit chat about the experience in the day and so on, it's beautiful!! I remember those days but now not anymore for me sad😔😅 as now fire is replaced by gas stove and so on
