@@MandoIsland welcome. well deserved. IM trying to learn this one on the mandolin. My bowl back form the Suzuki violin company (1970) looks lovely but has a more bell like tone - less warm. I like the shaped and scooped head stock on the one you are playing. unusual.

@@georgefenning4844 if you are thinking in changing your instrument you should go for a luigi embergher shape mandolin, they are roman style bowlback mandolin, actually they sound more warm than neapolitan ones, that have a more metalling and ringy sound
