5:57 I have a theory that if you don't have Seth's Wengine or Spring Embrace, the next best option is an off-class Wengine with ATK% or Anomaly substats. It's a pretty desperate sounding move, but the other defense Wengines are so underwhelming to him I think it's the right choice.
Bro the narration, the demonstration, instruction icons, slowmo, everything chef kiss, very easy to follow & understand even for beginner like me. Best presentation so far in youtube, thanks a lot for the great guide!
Wow, the slowed down replays with the icons indicating the order as well as which action the character is currently doing is sooo helpful!! Thank you so much. I always need to rewind because things happen so quickly, but I got it in one go with your video.
I just wanna let you know cos of your video I've learnt how to play Seth properly ❤ Your video also taught/showed me how to play quick swap (I've watched other CCs but their explanation left me even more confused 😂).
Really love this guide! Loved how you slowed things down, how you showed the little lit up icons when demonstrating the combos, just everything was super easy for a beginner like me to understand and digest! Appreciate it so much!
I've been having a lot of fun running Seth as a duo carry with Ellen and a more standard DPS build. Buff is not as useful but the parries help keep Ellen's flashfreeze charged and keep combos flowing without having to do a longer charged attack with her. I love how flexible he is outside of the numbers
Great guide, I keep fing up Seth combo. Probably because of I forget about resolve half of the time or because his animations are kind of long, this helped a lot.
Me who accidentally leveled up Seth's dodge skill thinking it was the swap skill: at least they'll all be 7s! Great guide, thank you, really helps to see the combo breakdown and to see two playstyle options.
Great guide! The only thing I find a bit annoying with the reverse quick assist is that it makes mobile play a bit cumbersome as I have to go through seth to reach lucy and buff since as far as I know I can't defensive assist backwards to her with touch controls like at 3:27
I actually put starlight engine on Seth just to get the atk sub stat. If i got it right, only the wengine effect doesn't work if it's not equiped with the right class.
For a anomaly support kit, its weird they didn't made his team passive activate with anomaly agent (just like how qingyi's activates with a attack agent)
Yeah, I was wondering the same. I play on mobile and it's basically impossible to do this since my Jane just keeps swapping to Seth and my 3rd member never gets used unless I manually swap that's super slow
can I ask is seth good on grace too? I just see this is a good guide to follow to know about seth kit and playstyle now I see this video can I do this on grace comp so my line up is like this grace, seth, rina btw this video is so helpful to see I hope you make another guide like this on the future.
Yes, Seth work nice with pure shock Grace because he buffs anomaly proficiency and reducing the enemy buildup res. Just make sure Seth use anomaly prof disc 4 so he won't lower overall team shock damage
ah thanks for the replied I will noted this for my Seth build. Follow-up question so I have Jane Doe w-engine but I don't have Jane Doe do you think I can use this on Piper or grace trying to test this on vr training I just got lucky pull it in 1 10 pull but I have a pity just 10 the plan is to get Seth w-engine 1 copy so now I got both Seth and Jane Doe sig w-engine and I don't want to waste this S-rank w-engine on my acc
Any thoughts if building for damage on Seth is viable at m6? I don't mean using him as main dps, but more like a sub dps support build (kinda like how Lucy builds for damage) since he does a big hit that's guaranteed to crit at the end of his enhanced charged attack.
What do you think of Caesar’s potential with Jane, does she replace Seth in his team? I plan on pulling Caesar and not sure if I should build Seth or just wait.
Defense is in a weird spot right now since you have Ben, who's character role (block a hit and unleash a big counter) lines up with what you'd expect from a Defensive character but both Seth and Caesar mainly provide buffs with no real qualities that make them fit into the Defense class over Support. I'm hopeful future defense characters line up more with Ben in how you play them
@@naransolongoboldbayer8030What defenders are missing is something that defines the class as a whole. Supports have the ability to apply their buffs and instantly swap to your dps, so I think Seth's "swap back after a parry" should be that defining feature. It just makes sense that they would step in to block attacks and immediatelly let the dps continue to do their job.
Love your content : short and sharp, straight to the point ! Plus, very nice editing and presentation : keep it going this way, dude ! s(^.^)-b P. S. Sub’ed ! ;)
Is it even worth it to use the charged attack on Seth? I cut like 20 seconds off of my Shiyu 17 by just ignoring him and only using him for parries and shield application.
In your case it might be better to use an uncharged EX. He can definitely do good damage if built for it but when using him as anomaly support he's more of a dedicated parry button
Some enemies like Dead End Butcher can make you waste parries with their long combos. Right now it's not much of an issue but I assume parry management will become more necessary in future content, so it might be worth to learn when to use the charge attack.

A really great guide. Specially showing the combo combination on what to press like in fighting games.
nice video format, now i can play seth :)
This is one of the best explanation videos i've come across for this game so far, thank you.
Me who accidentally leveled up Seth's dodge skill thinking it was the swap skill: at least they'll all be 7s! Great guide, thank you, really helps to see the combo breakdown and to see two playstyle options.
Finally a good guide about Seth! Keep it up my man
Thank you so much for this guide, very informative and easy to understand! 😊
This is a great video with wonderful tips and techniques! Thanks!
Informative and very well done guide !
very good guide! I like how to show Quickswap first, it is the best way to play Jane and unbuilt Seth.
i love your guide! and the layout too haha its very nice
i already knw you're gonna do a dps seth run, come on Apel dont be shy :>
Lmao he actually did it. You can see the future lol
Wow what a nice guide!! Loved it
Amazing Guide! Thanks!
Thanks for this amazing guide!
Please do more guide like this 🙏
damn u explain it pretty good
thanks i was just looking for this lol
Классные гайды! Большое спасибо, с удовольствием посмотрел и подписался.
At first I wasn’t sure if using Seth but now I am

I agree, they really need to add quickswap for mobile.
Thanks for the guide 👍👍👍
YESSSSSSSSSSS thank you!!!
Hope you will do dps Seth video too 👀
I actually put starlight engine on Seth just to get the atk sub stat. If i got it right, only the wengine effect doesn't work if it's not equiped with the right class.
nice guide
Thank u Apel!
For a anomaly support kit, its weird they didn't made his team passive activate with anomaly agent (just like how qingyi's activates with a attack agent)
I think it's because he's A rank agent
Only S rank agent have that type of synergy buff at the moment
I only pulled on Jane banner because of Seth
3:05 waiting for mobile to get backwards swap
Yeah, I was wondering the same. I play on mobile and it's basically impossible to do this since my Jane just keeps swapping to Seth and my 3rd member never gets used unless I manually swap that's super slow
what if my seth and rina both run the same set? 4pc freedom blues and 2pc swing jazz
Can you also make a video for Grace, Seth and Rina team comp?
🎉🎉🎉
can I ask is seth good on grace too? I just see this is a good guide to follow to know about seth kit and playstyle now I see this video can I do this on grace comp so my line up is like this grace, seth, rina btw this video is so helpful to see I hope you make another guide like this on the future.

I just tested and sub dps is viable.
But it's more expensive in terms of upgrades
woah so i can pair him with any main dps? it could be anyone? sweet.
What do you think of Caesar’s potential with Jane, does she replace Seth in his team? I plan on pulling Caesar and not sure if I should build Seth or just wait.
Thank you for this ❤ is it okay to build him with triple atk ?
Triple atk should works fine i think... I haven't tested it but it will probably do just fine, especially if you have him at M6
Can you also do tutorial on von lycaon for Ellen team? because you did sett tutorial for Jane.
i... dont know why hes is Defense class, hes more looks like vanguard support... if that class exist

What if you have M6 seth? Does his substat or main stat options change?
Still same for me.
Because the resource needed for sub dps is expensive
But I will consider sub dps seth once i maxed my dps agents
Is there another kind of rotation for Mobile, since you cannot swap back with mobile (which is kinda stupid)
Mobile really need backward swap
