Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody (REAL piano track - definitive version)

- This is my fourth and definitive version of Bohemian Rhapsody piano track. It’s an older video that was recorded right after the 3th Bo Rhap (final version). I’m uploading this video because this is the version where I did the most time consuming analysis and therefore I believe that this is by far the most complete version I ever did.
The definitive version reflects even the smallest details that are hard to notice in the original backing track, like “unbalanced” chords, hardly touched notes that are almost inaudible without using special software and “missed” notes in specific chords or bass. I went so far that I even intentionally played few “mistakes” that I discovered in the original piano track - there are few places in the backing track where Freddie (aware or unaware) slightly touches adjacent (non-harmonic) notes that are difficult to notice but they are there. The most noticeable “mistake” can be heard during the “octave piano run” before the outro. This was difficult to recreate because I had to hit the wrong note with exactly the right force. If you hit it too hard then it sounds terrible dissonant and if you hit it too gently you won’t even hear it. I had to record it many times until I got it right, that’s why I used “thought bubble” in this video as a sign of relief: finally getting it right after many, many attempts.
Here you can watch the documentary about Bohemian Rhapsody piano track (Inside The Rhapsody) where Dr. Brian May is talking about different sections of the piano track:
• Inside The Rhapsody (B...
I recorded two separate videos and put them together in video editor. The first part (from beginning till “very, very frightening me”) was recorded before my father’s death and the second part (from “Galileo Figaro” till the end) was recorded after my father’s death because the second part was made about 14 days later. So, at “very, very frightening me” he’s alive and the next moment at “Galileo Figaro” he’s already gone. For this reason has this video completely by coincidence made very weird effect on me: it symbolises TRANSIENCE. Now you are here and the next moment you’re gone. Enyoj every moment of your life.
DISCLAIMER: I don’t own anything. I am not the author of the song, it was written by Freddie Mercury. I have absolutely no economic/financial benefits from putting this video on RUclips. The only purpose of the video is to share it with people who appreciate Freddie's work of art.
First I have to say that I'm sorry because this was not recorded from above. Please notice that this video was recorded way before I knew people want to learn the track, right after the 3th version. However, I had many things in my head and I eventually lost the motivation to edit the video.
I was completely inactive for about two years (no analyzes, no uploads, no anything…) and therefore I thought to myself that maybe I should finish the old video of the last Bo Rhap and upload it in order to stay “active”. Besides that, this is the version where I did the most time consuming analysis and therefore I believe that this is by far the most complete version I ever did.
You did an amazing job! I'd like to congratulate you on this wonderful cover. You and Murdouch Piano are the best Queen's Cover out there. Please, keep making your videos and welcome back :)
Could I please get sheet music? This amazing!
This is perfect
I’ve studied the original piano track for about a year
This is really accurate, good job man
Thank you!
Freddie Mercury would have been 77 years old today September 5. 😞
Yes, it's funny, I really didn't plan this but then the coincidence somehow did the job:)...however, I was aware of this on the day that I uploded the video.
Your Bohrap piano track covers are so phenomenal one of them made it as background music at Sotheby's in London for the auction and display of Freddie's personal items!!
Really? I didn't know...
AMAZING cover of Bohemian Rhapsody, brought a tear to my eye, so much memories with this song!
Thanks! It's a song that never dies:)
Outstanding! I can't imagine how much effort you put into this, but it was definitely worth it!
Yeh, it takes too much effort
I'm only at the age of thirteen and I can play almost all of Bohemian Rhapsody, the way Freddie Mercury played it, I can play the guitar solo part and all, I am SO So sOO close to finishing it.
can you finish the whole thing now?
almost same Exactly dude, I'm currently perfecting the solo but so bummed I cant find any FULL Freddie's version tutorials
5:03 - 5:09 You nailed it and I love it.🥰
If I could ever learn how to play the piano, this is the first song I'll probably practicing first.
Here's the sections for The song...
0:13: Intro Section
1:02: Ballad Section
2:49: Guitar Solo Section
3:15: Opera Section
4:20: Rock Section
5:08: Outro Section
BTW, Bohemian Rhapsody is an Incredible song from Queen!!! Greetings from Brazil, USA!!!
I love this video so much that I made sure to be your 1000th sub. Great job!!!
LOL, I wasn't active and didn't even notice that 1000 mark was reached. Take care:)
@@siberiantiger344 just wondering, if you are planning on becoming active again, what would your next video be?
Loved the little hand raise for "face the truth"
:)
I feel like I’m listening to the isolated piano track great job!
This was also my intention
Playing bohemian rhapsody with that piano is hot. Very fantastic performance! For Freddie Mercury! 🎉
Thank you!
May I know what piano this is?
hey dude, (I saw what you put in the comments btw) I just wanted to ask if you ever plan on recording a video from above
This is amazing!! Do you have the sheet music?
I readed the desc, R.I.P your father 😢
Beautiful masterpiece can you kindly remove that sware word please since I meen that nicely
Ohh, sorry, my plan was to create 100 % accurate replica and this swear word is unfortunately part of it. This is what Freddie said after he finished the piano track. I suggest you to listen to his piano track at 5:57: ruclips.net/video/AjH83WcarJ8/видео.html
So sorry to hear about your father, truly beautiful music and excellent playing, I'm sure he was proud of you :) Keep it up ❤
Hi, thanks. I might analyse more songs in the future.
@@siberiantiger344 No problem, music is beautiful :)
can someone drop the music sheet?
You are playing so well! What I like most is how you respect the original version by Freddie Mercury. I hope you have a piano sheet to share.... 😘
ironic you upload directly after i see one of your videos for the first time, that's wild
interesting:)
Somebody to love
I might do it some day
awaited
if it's virtual, could you type the link to the sheet music? i want to learn this version, and every other version i see on youtube has the guitar solo/ vocals played on piano but i want to play it like Freddie
I do understand you, but as far as I know there is no accurate sheet music in existence.
I would like to play it accurately too, but keep in mind that freddy probably did not play it exactly the same way at all his performances, "mistakes" and other nuances and all. I wonder if even he would remember exactly how he played it on that original recording
Let's see you do *RUSH E*
what piano do you use?
Older casio model, nothig special. I modified the sound in audio editor.
splendid!!!!!!
Thanks!
Some day
Tutorial?
I really want to learn his because I have dream that on last year of school I will preform this master piece, and that I can see you really did well on finding right keys but can you please give notes for this? Or just show how it looks from up so I could see the notes? You really did a good job and this sounds authentic! :)
Hi, I'm bad at writting sheet music. Maybe I will make a tutorial one day if I get more free time but for a start you can check this video: ruclips.net/video/u5p1Guu69MM/видео.html
It might not be 100 % exactly the same as my version but it is very close any I believe it is a good version for learning because you can see the keys being played. I hope this will help you:)
What's the piano brand and model? sounds beautiful
It's an old Casio, the piano itself doesn't really sound so good but I recorded MP3 and "tuned" it in audio editor in order to sound a little bit better.
request the march of the black queen
Superb!!!
I did my best
Do viva la vida. Best cover yet
Wow awesome piece
Yes, it's a great piece
Hermoso
Thanks!
Great job
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Magnífico
Thanks
the piano is way to bright but ok
It sounds pretty nice to me
Yes, it's on the bright side but this is the best I could do with this recording and audio software. If I edited the sound in order to make it more mellow then it sounded very "synthetic" and "artificial" which I didn't like. That's way I decided for brighter version that sounds less "artificial".
