- Merry Christmas Everyone! With the holiday season upon us, I've decided to make this video about the voices behind one of my favorite Disney Christmas films, Mickey's Christmas Carol.
Cast In Order of Appearance:
Wayne Allwine as Begger Dog and Mickey Mouse
Alan Young as Scrooge McDuck
Hal Smith as Goofy
Will Ryan as Willie the Giant and Pete

Boy no one can touch Alan Young when it comes to Scrooge McDuck. And I think this was one of Wayne Allwine's earliest Mickey performances so he was just getting started.
This was actually the first animated film for both Wayne and Alan as Mickey and Scrooge.

@ISLAVERDE29 Yes, but this was the first animated FILM in which Alan appeared in as Scrooge.

I have this movie on dvd and I watch with my son every year. We love this version

LOTS of documentaries and featurettes let me tell ya. It's really just a matter of knowing where to look, knowing where it is, and then not forgetting. For this one in particular I got it from a Making of Mickey's Christmas Carol Behind The Scenes Special, and an episode of the 80s Disney documentary series, the Disney Family Album.
@@Thomas_H._Smith That's amazing! I've grown up and still to this day watch any behind the scenes content I can find! I can imagine how many hours you must spend searching and watching! Everyone really underestimates how much we enjoy footage of their acting.
1:02 I also think that the Phantom Blot would have made a better Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come
That's not bad, but I feel like he would have been too obscure of a character. Honestly, I don't think he even ever appeared in animation up to that point. I think a good choice would have been the old hag from Snow White. In fact, there's even an earlier book adaptation of a Christmas Carol by Disney that features her in the part.
Alan young was always Scrooge mcduck to me
And me as well. I loved him in the original Ducktales.

Yep.
He also voiced Gyro Gearloose, Flintheart Glomgold, and Huey, Dewey, and Louie as adults 👨 👨 👨 in the original 1987 DuckTales.

This was made before Jim began his voice acting career and before he became cast as the official Pete in 1992.
I will miss Will Ryan!
