Thanks, excellent video. I started to collect the I sovereigns but sold out a few years ago to focus on the QEII proof date run and strike on the day sovereigns. PAMP are doing a good job, great looking coins. I just wish the Perth Mint would get a licence from the Royal Mint and start producing Pistrucci design sovereigns with the P mint mark again.
I had learned my lesson for sending coins to PCGS/NGC for grading in the past. I will never do that again. I certainly will keep it as it is since the original package will be more collectible, reputable ,and presentable than the numeric grade and plastic holder. If I were considering it for grading, I would certainly have the company to preserve the entire package with special holder.
@@SilverLimey79 If you remembered one of my videos in the past, NGC scratched one of my gold coins. I was furious since the Perth only produced 5000 pieces. So much for the MS69 grade. Another reason is that PCGS gave two of my pre33 gold at very low grade and cleaned designation when the same date coins in details look very similar at higher grade coins Those are the main reasons why I will never deal with any of them since the risks are greater than benefits. The entire coin industry in US is controlled by multiple group of entities which certainly dictate the price movements and population of grades on many U.S. collector coins(Pre33 and modern). Also U.S. bullion coins carry higher premium than many others. We should all ask the question. "Who have been promoting and deciding their high premium???" That is the major reason why I completely stop buying any US coins regardless bullion or pre33 coins. Don't want to put my cash into the giant cabal for loss.
@@healthbabe2691 yeah sorry to hear about those. They scratched a friends coin which I was surprised on and got a PF69 grade. More of a gash than a scratch. I told him to complain but he didn't and still sold it for a profit though. Seems to be hit and miss.
@@SilverLimey79 I am not surprised at all as modern day grading companies have evolved to money driven entities instead of having best interest for coin collectors. They have been heavily working with major mints and dealers on grading many modern coins in a batch for increasing revenue. Two of my favorite recent examples are the Palladium eagle and Perth Gold Dolphin with specific serial number in 2018. You should be able to find more examples in this regard. For your friend's case, It would not help even your friend had filed complaint since the release form was signed by the sender that the grading company is not liable for any damage or loss. Now you understand why I am no longer a fan of sending any coins for grading and buying U.S. coins. Not that I don't like them, I just don't want to encourage this manipulated business model which certainly disrupt the true price discovery and hurt many collectors financially
re liked and resubbd. RUclips removed you from me, along with most of my favorite channels. I only know about the Pamp Silver because I bought some in the aftermarket.
Where are you from because I told international staker that I was Irish and he said he met you here. I just want to know because I don’t know any good websites for silver :)
Excellent info my friend. I had no idea that Pamp was making the Sovereigns in India. All of the Sov’s I’ve owned have been much older. You’re a bad influence🤨. I think I might have to pick one of these up now. Thanks bro👊✌️
In 1918 the US delivered 270 million silver dollars to England and/or India for the war effort and debts. 90% silver. Maybe this Silver was used by mint in India.
Beautiful sovereign Limey. Awesome pickup for sure. Thanks for sharing my friend.
Thanks Alexander... Sometimes you wait that little bit longer so pick up something nice.
Great Video Brother.
Much appreciated
Very nice addition 🙂👁
Thanks Stacker 2020...
Gold!!!!!!! Nice video, I really need to get an India sovereign
thanks Buddy
The 1918 I is fairly expensive. If you can pick them up for around €440 graded. Your on the money in my opinion
Thanks, excellent video.

Hmmm yes that would be a great idea. Get the old colonial mints producing sovs again with the mint marks.
Very nice! Hope you're doing well, Limey. 😀🍻
Thanks Ryan... Appreciated. Hope you are too.

What was the issue? I haven't had any issues so far. 👍🏻

I have yet to buy gold off of e-bay, you are a much braver man than I lol
Yeah I know but if you check feedback and know what your buying it's worth it.

Haha bad influence.... You don't see many of these and they go for decent money too. To grade or not to grade... 🤔
SilverLimey 79 That is the question😉✌️
I bought the 2020 coin and I like it. High premium though.
Yeah they are very Nicé though and I like the marketing.

Possibly reminted into Rupees or Annas.
