Sadly, the price difference is not really there. In Europe at least, the P30 Pro has dropped to about 600 Euros and the Xiaomi has just launched with the same price. It is 600USD only in the China market. Being a flagship, the P30 Pro actually is better value for money. Strange times we live in.

@@zwietnamu3605 I think xiaomi has great photos and video with front facing camera. Much better than some flagships. But I don't want them to do that huge crop to stabilize, they should maybe add OIS to do a wide but subtly stabilized video and also add autofocus to the front facing camera.
The Xiaomi took the much better pictures. Are you blind??? Xiaomi has way better HDR than Huawei in this video. Brighter picture, much better shadows, no high-light clipping. Xiaomi dominated it.

I think Huawei is more sharpened ( a bit over to my taste) but vivid, while Hiaomi is more true to life, realistic colors, but lacks a bit of vivid tone. Of course, this is why we have multiple choices to go with our preferences.. A very helpful comparison.

I would still go for the P30 Pro, because of the better audio quality in videos, but Note 10 is really worth considering! Also, you should have tried extreme low light conditions shooting too, because the RYYB sensor of the P30 Pro would produce unreachable results there. Anyway, if Mi Mix 4 will bring OIS on all cameras (including front and wide) and come with better quality microphones, that would become the definitive Xiaomi flagship!

Hi Tech Tablets, based on your testing do you think the Xiaomi actually does better at intermediate zoom ranges (2x-3x) where the P30pro is lacking coverage and has to rely on purely on interpolation? I find the 50mm-85mm (2-3x) zoom range more useful than 5x (135mm) and the Note 10 has that 12mp 50mm (2x) that fills in the gap.

I have tested both phones and feel disappointed that the videos are stuttering, less on the Huawei. Is that possibly a settings thing? I've tested both phones with 1080p, 60 fps. But what do I have from 60 fps, when it's plaqued by framedrops... I'm not getting that new phone if it can't make smooth videos.

Excellent job my friend, that 108 sensor is quite amazing, i think with a bit of improvements with processing , it will beat most phones. and what is it with Xiaomi, how they always manage to mess up the audio so bad? , in my opinion audio is even more important than video quality in certain cases .
@@df3yt Depends on mod, settings, Android and MIUI version and lots of other parameters. Redmi Note 7 here with HyperCam R6 and it's literally the best improvement I've seen.

Please install open camera turn off edges turn on Raw or PNG turn quality to 100% yes I'll be more laggy but you'll get amazing photos trust me would love to see the video on it thanks

P30pro kills note 10 in the pitch black, and has a night vision else where, in normal darkness the note ten makes some nice real looking pictures, but like at the day the hdr is not the best.
look the dxo pictures, they are note pro ones. Shutter with lot of focus help is good but image processing takes a second and up to five in 108MP mode. So you need to wait before shooting the next picture.

I recommend the Xiaomi Note 10 since it has a good camera,the largest battery out of the the three options and has a decent cpu. The difference in cpu between the phones are marginal unless you play a lot of heavy games.
Xiaomi still doesn't understand that no matter how many Megapixels you have it's useless without a proper software for it and it seems they don't want to learn and they don't want to invest money in camera OS department. They have one of the worst and pure garbage software for their camera and this very good video made by Chris proves just that. Stop at 1:17 and look how 5X zoom looks on P30 Pro and how it looks on Note 10. Pure trash and unusable. And that sign is blue and their trash software makes it look purple ...
DxOMark judgement doesn't seem wrong. I do notice clipped highlights at times, especially in low light but mostly in bright light. It should be fixable with updates, just as the broken color science.
