The most technical martial arts 🥋 breakdown artist on RUclips imo! Looks like you guys had a great time here trading Thai boxing blows here! Ashley is a tough lady! As always, you break down every little detail that I wouldn't see or pay attention to so clean and crisp, and I appreciate that! For every style of martial art you practice or execute, you take serious time to respect the difference and simplify the hardest parts of certain moves and techniques. Great work 🙌

Great breakdown. Reminded me of when I was about 17 and sparring with a female Olympian Tae Kwon Do-ist. She really shocked me initially as at the time I was still relatively inexperienced and always went gentler with females. Forced me to raise my game.

I've never seen someone throw a double hand strike like that, I can't wait to play around with that during light sparring. Thanks to your videos I tried a couple of those handy foot sweeps and I am finding them really good, their forward foot is usually the closest body part to me so I am finding it is much easier to pull off than a lot of other moves. A quick jab, or jab cross to mask the foot sweep, works like a charm.

The killing shift, that's often used by Manos De Piedra, Roberto Duran back in the old days. After a jab and cross combo, he loved to step into a southpaw position and throw another left cross or tangled up with his opponent and fight in the clinch. That's highly useful in Muay Thai since you could clinch and go for knee strikes and fight on the inside.

Neither of them were sparring at 100% because they're both good athletes with respect for each other. Sparring is about learning, not bashing your egos together - and if you think otherwise you either don't fight or you're pummeling your friends at the gym for no reason

Haha, my name is lost - nice work! : D
Your point is what then? That he went easier on her 'cause she's a lady and then a sarcastic remark about empowering women that looks like it was written by a man who's never seen a vagina?
Cause that's what I'm reading right here, and if that's what you mean then I stand by my point. Otherwise, I'm not sure what else you could mean by your comment? :p
