Hey yes they do look abit wild i think. The previous owner had them installed. I believe theyre called a bouyancy collar. Its foam with alloy plate over it. It definately gives amazing stability at rest, and it also acts like a big reverse chine under way deflecting spray. Its very dry for a centre console. It also has good stability underway acting abit like trim tabs would do to keep the boat level underway

Sure is! Well around the islands out from mackay. There is a bunch in the 30-50km out range for us untill we get a bigger boat
