- Sorry it's been a while, and thanks for waiting!! 🙏 Quals were really stressful, but I hope this video will help motivate anyone who's in need of a boost to stay or start being productive 😊 Don't forget how important it is to take some time to take care of yourself, no matter how busy you are! 🙌

Hi Ella, I've been watching you and your sister's vlogs since college. And you guys are my greatest motivations! So recently I've been reading the love hypothesis. (It's a cheesy rom com I know. ) But since you are also a stanford phd like the character. I was thinking that maybe you could make a light hearted video reviewing this book! And the title could be stanford pdh reads the love hypothesis hahaha... I don't know. Anyways, congrats for passing quals!!!!

Hi Ella, congratulations on passing your quals! I just passed mine too and became a phd candidate officially from this Fall. 😄 We call our presentation Research Proficiency Exam (RPE) and I remember my stressful days leading up to the presentation. I am a CompSci PhD candidate but it was weirdly comforting to see you go through similar experience. I also get motivated by watching your videos. Looking forward to more of your videos. 😊
Quick question: what was the application that you were using for reading research papers?
