hey guyssss i missed yall how are you all doing? this was an extremely fun vlog to make :) come along with me on this birthday vlog of me turning 23 alone in taiwan.
i had an idea of what I wanted to do but on the day of, I was just tired and not excited since I'm not the biggest fan of birthdays for myself lol. but this birthday literally turned out to be the best. everything went smoothly even tho i was anxious at the beginning.

I’m turning 18 in 2 months, and I’m already nervous for it. I’m not gonna throw a party or even celebrate it with a friend, and I’m scared of what my parents or siblings r gonna think of me. Seeing you do this gave me some confident, thank you. Also, Happy birthday!! And do u have any advice on celebrating ur birthday alone?
YESSS! my advice is def just doing something you enjoy. have the mindset that “this is going to be my day” and just do whatever you want without feeling any sort of guilt. honestly that should be a everyday mindset but i know it can be hard for some of us to have this mindset everyday. so just know that on your birthday, do things that you want to do.

I just turned 18 like 3 weeks ago and to be honest its not much deferent. I was always worried about all these new responsibilities and stuff but if you take it one day at a time its much easier.

The first time I found out you was probably in IG Reels that you were confessing you've never in a relationship and you don't even feel if that's necessary. I could relate to it so bad so I followed and subscribed. As an Asian female who lives alone in the Western country, your videos are very relatable and empowered me even if you didn't intend it. I think that people don’t talk enough how hard it can be as a solo traveler to sometimes just get out and do things in a place that you don’t know and are not comfortable yet in. It can really take a lot of motivation to do it in the first days-usually it ends up being completely fine afterwards but filling the entire day with activities can be pretty challenging😅. Loved the video and you visiting the cat village!🐈

OK I just finished watching this (posted my other comment and then I think my computer died LOL) so 🍇😊Loved the birthday vlog. On my bday last year I booked a bday staycation in a loft inside my local train station, and the whole day was train-themed. Took a train to a small town I had never been to 2 hours from here (alone), visited there, ate steak at a restaurant and saw tons of thrift stores (at least 4 and I want to go back to thrift there and do a fashion show in the empty train station). Then I came back and also had a cake with sparklers (they were hard to light LOL), went to dinner with my friends then snuck my cat in the loft (I don't think it was pet-friendly but I was discreet LOL). I vlogged it too!! ❤ OH and the day before I got myself a pizza with all the extras on it (pear, 7 types of cheese, bacon, wild mushrooms etc0 and the pizza ended up costing $80 LOL but it was the best pizza I've ever had. The PEAR and goat cheese combo was OUT OF THIS WORLD 🔥

This year I turned 23 and can say I saw my life get back on track to a certain extent.
Since my 18th, I personally don't like my birthdays. I wonder if I'll even celebrate next year. Next is 24 a big age. I haven't done anything big or achieved much of anything I wanted really.
I still don't know how I'll face the day next year. Everything I now achieve I feel is 7+ years too late. 😅
However, seeing you be happy in yourself, in your own company and working through everything is inspirational. You've achieved so much. All while sharing your experiences and therefore encouraging others. It nice to share in your day.
