I cried watching the final episode. It's all on paramount+ by the way. When Bob and Joy named their adopted baby Betty....that was a great scene. Joy says "I never met a Betty I didn't like." and Elka goes "And they're all so pretty."
cancelling a show is often a result of ratings going down and producers deciding to replace it with a new one with younger casts. i read somewhere that valerie is still pissed off about the cancellation.
A lot of the jokes may have been cheesy and not so funny but the show itself sure was entertaining and it kept me at the edge of my seat a lot. It sure is sad to say goodbye. Of course it was quite funny even if it wasn't always hilarious but storyline wise, it kept me interested. :)
This interview was a crappy final interview. I love the girls, but why the questions about sex on the show? Their romantic relationships were a big part of the show, but there were all kinds of relationships in that show,- w/ adult children, parents, siblings, neighbors, & friends. I would have loved to have someone ask these ladies deeper questions. "Let's talk about sex on the show," said the people who just want shallow comments b/c sex sells ads & generates clicks & will get the most viewers. Why not ask what it was like working with GEORGIA ENGEL? Why not ask what is was like working with the animals on the set? Why not ask Wemdy about her work for the environment or animals? The interviewer didn't bother to do any research on the causes that concern the actresses or what they'd like to do next.

This show was one of the few out there that actually raised a true belly laugh during almost every episode. From the looks of the comments you left, you're clearly incapable of grasping the concept of humour since you're obviously a child, or have the mind of a child, void of any emotion or intellect and/or are on drugs & booze yourself.
