I always load mechanical leads from the front. I've never seen colored ones anywhere though. The weird thing about posting art is, the art you think will do really well usually doesn't. The quick scribble you did in 5 minutes are what takes off for some reason.
Haha totally. It’s a quantity over quality game.
I've been following you since you had 3xx followers on Instagram and I've always wondered why you never went viral haha. I'm glad to see at least one video did :)
Haha I’m an absolute noob when it comes to being a content creator. Definitely learning as I go.
Would you or have you done a video explaining and showing how you find the place for eyes, nose and mouth of you art. That are beautiful.
Yes I can. In my previous art tutorials I also talk about finding where features are. Check them out and let me know if they are helpful?
I just found your channel and your portraits are amazing! Are you self taught, or did you go to art school? I would love to learn to draw, especially portraits, but can't take art classes right now. I don't know where to start on my own.
I am not the video author, but I have some tips of my own. Get into art community and ask for critiques. Try to *understand* what went wrong, not just trash sketches you hate. Differentiate between sketches and studies.
PM if you wish and have photos of your pictures.
Thank you. I did learn from lessons and school later on, but I don't think it's mandatory. Anyone can learn to draw. There are so many ways to learn for free online, even just from RUclips alone. What's important is to figure out what works for you? You can't learn drawing without drawing. So developing a routine that works for you where you can find some time to draw will be very important.
