The reason your finding more is mainly due to the conditions and how the land is turned over also the most productive areas will always change in fields due to this most modern machines are pretty much as good as each other
Heh guys Scott here that stone with the US military writing is Amazing I live be in Waldport Oregon on the coast I've been watching you a lot lately nice finds all the way around
great vid bud, you guys make detectoring look fun and so it should be.. Holly looked so excited to be out in that forest. ..lol... As they say, A field is never done, always worth another sweep, and rinse and repeat.. 👍
I've been doing a large field for 25 years & still producing coins, including hammered. Obviously metal detectors have improved for depth, but deep ploughing will keep lifting the previously out of range coins, or levelling them for better signals.
Great finds. Yea I’d say atmospheric pressures along with moisture in the ground made the coil be more receptive to the metals! Like it’s always said a field is never dug clean! If not the next one or two seasonal plowing of the fields to rotate the soil a good 18-24 inches to lift many items from the depth of there demise . Remember Mother Earth is adding to her self every year making her self bigger and bigger in circumference!
Cracking video as always pal!!
It really does show the truth in the expression "A field is never truly done!"

Great fun. I hope your blood draw is all good. Thank you.
If a double bottom plow was used the dirt was brought up from as much as 18 to 20” and it’s a new game.
It’s a combination of the D2 and Tekkna. Powerful medicine.
With all the goodies that turned up, did the farmer plow a bit deeper than usual? That with the right conditions could help.
